I imagine the Lipo 11.1 and 7.4 sticks types will fit just fine. I wouldnt run any of those types of batteries in the videos personally. Always a 7.4 Lipo instead of Nimh packs. And an 11.1 if theres a Mosfet(which the Gen 3 SHOULD be ready for out of the box.) 11.1 sticks slide right down the buffer tube of my LT29 Gen 2 with zero issue. Though I have since turned it into a DSG and have a pretty fatty 2200mAh 11.1 100c brick hidden in the Alpha Stock.
Great video, great information. I've been looking at these since they were released, and was wondering how the hell batteries would fit. Great content on the Gen 3 man, keep it up.
I use the zee 11.1 1300mah and they fit in almost any buffer tube and they are cheep on Amazon for 18$ and I have had a great experience with them so far have owned about 2 for 6 months no problems at all
I just took the stock completely off and put the larger side of the 11.1 nunchuck 3100mAh battery into the tube and the smaller battery into the stock along with the wires. With this battery in it the stock can move from the furthest stock setting to the mid stock setting but will not goto the most collapsed position.
Or, you could switch to Lancer's stubby stock and problem solved. Yeah. I know. Lots of people hate that look. By the way, I have a question. Have you (or anyone else reading) had any experience using any other mags with these Gen 3 guns? I really want to grab one but I really want a hi cap mag for it.
Actually if you had read about this gun, you would know that it takes an 11.1v LiPo battery. There are plenty of 11.1v LiPo batteries on amazon that you can and should get for this specific AEG.
if it heats up quickly. try to adjust the motor height. and if you're willing to go inside the Gearbox, redo the shimming. Motor height is extrememly impactful when it comes to the motor heating up.
safest battery to run would be a 9.6v NiMH battery. It should have come with your gun in the box. most times you can get away with using a 7.4v LiIon or LiPo as long as it is 15c or under.
Beware of what...I have a gen3 and have at least 4 lipos that fit in the buffer tube just fine ...b4 you go and make a video warning about something make sure its actually a legit problem....stick to hi capas guy ..!!!
Buy the right battery. Saying buyer beware is bs

Gen 2 and 3 are very different

Did you fit in gen 3
Will it work in the gen 2 also ?
@@frictionless8726 gen 2 stocks have more space than gen 3s. almost any battery except brick type will fit in gen 2
I use 11.1 lipo in gen 3 Idk why he takes stock apart it just slides off and battery slides in so nice
@@DatAirsofttDude what battery do you use?
You need a buffertube style 11.1 v LiPo battery. That titan 7.4 volt LiOn is weak sauce
Especially bc it comes with a Mosfet pre-installed. 11.1 shouldn't be a problem
I recommend getting an aftermarket stock. Either the krytac stock or PTS EPS.
yeah honestly. Honestly, I fill they should've kept the stocks from the gen 2s and put them on the gen 3s.
gen 2 lt rifles stocks fits the gen 3 and lets you use the nunchuck batteries

You can just change out the but stock with a older rifle or after market...great info
Thank you for posting this video.
Thanks for the heads up my man
I have one, smaller lipo batteries fit just fine
You need a lipo battery and to make the gun work better get a 11.1v lipo battery you can find them on Amazon
So the titan won’t work as well
Or, you could switch to Lancer's stubby stock and problem solved. Yeah. I know. Lots of people hate that look.

Great information, I had no idea.. I wonder if will take a Lipo battery? If so the 11.1 should allow the gen 3 it’s full potential. Great video!
The LT gen 3 is recommended for a 11.1v 25c lipo I just received a new crane stock from Cyma that will allow me to fit that battery.
@@mr.hi-capa3798 can i get a link to battery and a charger for it
and also the crain stock
@@mr.hi-capa3798 I'm thinking of getting one but I want to use a 7.4 5000 mah 50c do you think it'll be a good match and what stock would fit it?
Just do like I did recently just change the stock out and you will be able to fit whatever battery you want

What were they smoking making the stock? 😂
im getting thee one with the delta stock, i should be good right..?
Does your motor heat up the grip really easily, because I test fire mine and it's gets pretty hot.
I haven’t noticed it yet but I’ll keep that in mind next time I go play airsoft.

Can u still use the Mosfet etu with nimh
What about the Titan stick battery? Or changing the stock to the PTS one?
Yes the Titan stick battery does fit. I’ll do some research on the PTS stock. Thanks
What do you need to do is you need to pull the stock out a little bit before you put the battery in that’s what I had to do mine
will a 6000 11.1 fit
will a matrix high performance 11.1 stick lipo battery fit in it?
I’m not sure if it will fit
yes it will. I would personally recommend the Tenergy or IPower Intellect batteries. Nothing above 1000mAh
Me: *has small stick type 11.1 LiPO’s*
Nyeh heh!
How did you open up the stock!?!
I removed the screw on the but stock
Easy! change the stock to a G&G stock it’s only like $20 bucks problem solved
What will be good for my gen 2 and how fast and big can I put in
I’m not that familiar with the Gen 2 but just to be safe you can go with a 7.4 Lipo battery
I have the proline gen 2, mine has a MOSFET, I am able to run a 11.1 just fine.
I believe LT reccomends a 9.6 for the non-MOSFET models
safest battery to run would be a 9.6v NiMH battery. It should have come with your gun in the box. most times you can get away with using a 7.4v LiIon or LiPo as long as it is 15c or under.
Can you throw in the 11.1 titan in this? Or is it too long?
I'm wondering the same thing. I'm running the 7.4v lith-ion and it fits fine. Have you found any info on the 11.1v?
Then you buy a new stock and slide it on
Easy
Replace the butt stock
buy a new battery for $15 not hard i have one
Beware of what...I have a gen3 and have at least 4 lipos that fit in the buffer tube just fine ...b4 you go and make a video warning about something make sure its actually a legit problem....stick to hi capas guy ..!!!
Just get a lipo
Yo I have this gun those batteries will fit your just putting them in wrong you have to take the stock off not shove them through the butt stock
will the lancer tactical 11.1v 1300 mAh 25c battery work or is it too long?
A 11.1v 600mah 20c will fit from lancer tech so maybe
From what I understand you just might not be able to close the stock all the way but it'll fit.
