Make a binder and keep copies of anything you submit, how it was submitted (in person, mail etc) to whom it was submitted and the date ;) Sadly, paperwork getting lost is not uncommon.
Amy Menjivar This is a must! Thanks for sharing :) I had some binder printables and a folder that I used to keep record of everything as well! Totally forgot to mention.
My husband and I are parents of a 26yr old son and the empty nest syndrome is driving us crazy. We have so much love for another child that needs a safe and stable place to call home even if it's just for a short time.

My fiance has a misdemeanor assault on his record from 3 years ago. He completed anger management and has been off probation for over a year now. It hasn't held us back from anything else. Will it hold us back from getting licensed?
I was wondering when you mention chemicals, etc being in locked cupboard.... can it just be the child safety lock where you don't need a key or an actual lock. If it's an actual lock do you have an example of it?
Yes! It’s all about foster care. The rules and walking you through everything you have to learn about foster care. So it doesn’t go too in depth on trauma or specific topics, because the class covers so much.

Yes I believe so! It might vary based on agency though!
At least in Ohio, foster parenting classes are on the weekend.
We did take a weekend course, but there were week options too :)
Can a person be licensed for one placement only or is it mandatory to be licensed for two placements?
You can be licensed for one only! We are only licensed for one right now as well :)
