I think the thing with women complimenting men wearing scents is largely because there are so few men who wear scents that encountering a man wearing a *great* scent is so rare it makes them want to stop and recognize it. Nothing wrong with that!
This is such an on point list. In terms of sex appeal, Guerlain L'homme Ideal Extreme was my top buy this year. Also Rochas Moustache is one of the few fragrance my wife knows by name because she insists I wear it anytime we go somewhere nice. I have Tuxedo but she honestly prefers Moustache...
I only buy and wear Tom Ford fragrances. I like to streamline my picks. TF is the best to me. I have seven so far. I’m also picky about the bottles too. So many of these bottles look tacky. Odd. Cheapens the actual fragrance to me. The bottle design is also so important. Will that grab me too. Besides of course the fragrance.
There isn't a Tom Ford fragrance I don't like and all the ones I have tried have had exceptional performance. So yeah, if you're going to pick a house to focus on, you simply can't go wrong with that or Louis Vuitton.

I've been to a much colder place for Christmas before, but I felt a sense of gloominess and the weather was not nice, grey sky. This summer I am wearing Gentle Fludity this season and Eau de Mix from aNocolai. I'm loving them.
