Daniela Algeitos tbh I wish they kept the rude personalities, made it harder to befriend cranky villagers atleast... with all these personality types, most just end up being “nice”. That’s what the normal villagers are for

Keep in mind, that’s _kids_ mostly play animal crossing and a lot of them probably wondered why their favourite villagers were angry at them and Nintendo probably had to tone it down cause it probably upset a lot of them.
Bhavna M I’d make the Snooty and Cranky villagers have their GameCube personalities.Jock,Smug and Sisterly villagers can have a bit of a mean streak,but are usually nice people. Peppy and Lazy villagers can get mad at you or offend you unintentionally,but getting them mad almost never happens unless you’re intentionally being mean to them repeatedly.Nice Villagers can honestly be as saccharine as possible and they guilt trip you instead of getting mad at you.

I think they are trying to teach people a more proper way to respond if someone is doing something you don’t like, it’s refreshing that his bullying isn’t counteracted with more bullying.

My sister shares a switch with me and my other two sisters and my favorite villagers there were Elmer coach and Octavia and they all moved away so I got angry and kept hitting there replacements, tank for coach merengue for octavian and molly for Elmer they still haven't moved out and one of my sisters got mad at me for accepting an "ugly" villager called klaus and I got mad because he just waltzed in I didnt invite so I got mad and kept hitting him, I still hit them to this day
