Hey so the car as a whole is 20+k but the transmission setup is pretty cheap, all you need is a transmission and diff out of a c5 corvette, look on market place for people parting out a c5 or c6 vette, then you will need a different bellhousing to mount the transmission to the engine, it all it will run you $1500 to$3000 depending on what you find on market place
@@DeathByBoost thank you Sir! Really appreciate all the creative work that you put online. I was wondering if this set up would work with a more modern transmission? Wanted to mate a 8L90-E transmission with a PCS paddle shift system.
@@DeathByBoost thanks for being very responsive and open to share. My last question is what kind of bell housing was used to mate the engine to the transmission?
this car would be perfect for one of those 8-1 exhaust headers. just relocate the air and fuels tanks and you have an absolute screamer. you just have to find someone that will weld it up for you.
Pretty cool setup guys. Drivetrain is what I had an idea about doing. Worried about how long the final chassis would be. Do you have a video on mating the engine, trans and rear end together. That would be an educational how to video indeed. ✌️😎
This car and its design is among the best that I've seen in a good while. However that maybe my strong like if simplicity and rat rod styling. I also really like the moon disc wheels/wheel covers. I watched the video three times paying close attention to your descriptions but I didn't see where the battery was located. Maybe under the PDM in Box #2, or under the RideTech system in Box #3? Thanks guys!
I hope you can help me out. Working on a similar project and need to know the distance from the rear axle centerline to the transmission/engine interface. THANKS
Basically you run the one hose off the engine like normal to one of the radiators. Then a hose from that radiator to the other radiator, then from that radiator back to the engine. Making a big circle

Nice job. Its not easy building a car from scratch. I'm sure you mention it somewhere but, how high is it? Like how much ground clearance does it have and how high is the roof?
Would you guys be able to tell me the approximate length from the front of the engine to the centerline of the differential? Not exact just rough tape measure. Thank you!
Did you guys made air suspension active for it to counter the roll, or is that not feasible using air? also... are those chrome moly tubes or other? Big fan! loving the deep dive on those parts and the nitty design decisions behind it!
Did you end up ditching the IAC setup the 8 stack came with? I have the same kit. and noticed the IAC distribution block seems to be machined wrong. Its a dead end and can't bleed air to change idle.
