I need to dig into loopy pro a lot more, I’ve been trying some of the things you have been showing us on here, and its made me realize the power of this one. Id like to set up xy pads with different note repeat patterns left n right and keep velocity up and down. Do you know if that’s possible??
Pretty sure that's possible. Just look for a good arpeggiator that lets you cycle through different preset patterns. Then you might need to set a stepped dial in the main template to switch the arpeggiator patterns and trigger that dial with the X coordinate of the xy grids.
I would hesitate to suggest that it's a 1:1 comparison. I don't think I could get this idea to quite measure up to real MPE set up, but I have definitely pushed beyond the limitations that I had before I tried this.
@@LiveLoopers Yeah, GeoShred's a single continuous surface and has some neat variable rate quantisation features, but this definitely has all the makings of "good enough" :)

Just realised, you can essentially implement GeoShred entirely in Loopy Pro using the X/Y pads. Saves a pile of cash.
