A brilliant start to a Sunday morning Richard, love the down to earth narration and the highly informative about your equipment and your location. Thanks.
It’s a very clever plant/weed is Blackgrass, only so many seeds germinate, and when a plant dies it releases a pheromone which stimulates other dormant seeds around the dying plant to grow. Great vids as always Richard👍🏻
Hi Richard , I know it would be a hell a lot of work but if you were to put pigs outside in arcs over the summer months they would fairly clean out and rejuvenate that land. I worked on a 350 acre pig/arable in North Yorkshire way back and it fairly worked up the ground, but it might be a tough option if the Sufi drys up.
Difficult decision to be made over cropping and pay back when Defra will pay good money for wild life crops Agree Round Up doesn’t appear to be as strong these days
With this change of government do you think the sfi scheme will last its 3 year cycle? Great blog as ever Richard, where sexy fingers? Not seen him for a while.

I tend to use Snapper Glyphosate as it’s a 540g/l. I find it much better than generic 360.
Will look into that cheers Rich
@@dovefarms7435 no problem. I get it from Agrovista.
I don't know about all of the government schemes but if the land can't be used fer anything else then go for it.
