Heading home, I see a monster carp , in the shallow water, stop my truck , cast a black bugger , carp nose towards the shore, swims to my fly turns around fast, I pull up my line , zing out more line, lands right at him, takes it hard, but I should of let it run , but I kept the hookset, and the carp tailed off the bottom into the air, broke off, but it was still satisfaction

There’s a pier I go for catfish just off of 291 under the commodore Barry bridge on the Delaware river if you’ve never been it’s a good time for cats and sometimes stripers
I was using golden shiners as cut bait for channel catfish and I had a freaking largemouth eat it. This was in the same spot where a week earlier I had a channel catfish break me off after hitting a lipless crankbait. And to top it all off I've never caught a channel cat before and desperately want to. Fishing is just nuts sometimes.
I catch giant carp all the time common , mirror but my biggest is a 30 pound buffalo but I catch many huge fish where I'm from the ones you catch are babies 😆
Google maps the princeton nj area canal streams lakes spillway ect.. lots of different types of fishing within a mile or so..first time fishing the other day thanks to watching ur vids founda creek back to back blue gill lol..iv bought 3 rods already went fishing once lol
