Love the fact that the first thing I noticed in the fridge was the Bud!! That's what my husband drank before he died and I'm looking to buy a nice motor home that I can live and travel in with my three cats.
I am about to buy a used 94 arrow. I haven't seen it in person yet. Judging by the photos and your video, the exterior lines and windows match. Thanks for sharing. Hopefully the one get looks as good inside as yours.
Glad to be of assistance. What's the price? This your first motor home? We were in a pop up before the Arrow, wow, what a difference. Had it three years this Sept. I actually just winterized it tonight; temps falling in Iowa. If you have any questions; do not hesitate to ask. Keep in touch; I'd love to hear you scored a jewel. Dave PS: When I bought my Arrow it had load range D tires (the standard) on the front. Squirrelly as all get out in the wind and passing semis. I put load range E's all around. (E's are required for the rear duals.) Sacrificed a smidge of ride for a whole LOT of stability. I HIGHLY recommend you do so also. Too much tire is a good thing. After a lot of research I chose Firestone Transforce HTs. My guy charged me just under a thousand for 6 installed with custom valve stems that all point the 'right' way.
+CrazyDaveIowa +CrazyDaveIowa It is my first RV. I am an Over The Road Truck Driver. I pull a 53' refrigerated van trainer with a Freightliner Cascadia. Been trucking since 2010. From my experience and training, good tires are a must. Right now, I am also winterizing by preparing myself for the challenges od driving in winter conditions. I practice the Smith System (a professional defensive driving technique) to stay safe on the road. It's literally my job as a professional to do daily inspections on every component on a semi truck. What I am not too experienced with are accessories such as grey water systems, propane/electric appliances, and how to check into an RV park. Travel Plazas are typically free and I have most of their locations memorized. I travel 12k miles a month on Interstates across the country, so operating and navigating I can do with my eyes closed (joking, I would never drive with my eyes closed). It's the community of RV enthusiasts and people who live much simpler lives that have led me to get an RV. I love to travel but want the freedom that Does Not come with a commercial tractor trailer. I am used to logging every minute and mile, meeting deadlines, dealing with poorly behaving drivers, and you name it...I would just like to be able to afford to get off the road and increase my own productivity instead of my employers.
+CrazyDaveIowa Oh, I forgot. The 1994 Fleetwood Tioga Arrow 31 with 60k miles with a 1993 Jeep Wrangler 4.0 is $9k OBO. No leaks, both run good, and tow package included. I uploaded a video today with some pictures of the RV and Jeep. I haven't seen it in person yet, so my fingers are crossed that I don't find any black mold.
What I am not too experienced with are accessories such as grey water systems, propane/electric appliances, I'll put together a list of necessary accessories for you. Give me a day or two.
@@StudioDaVeed so far I've had to fix the bunkhouse the roof I've had to fix a lot of stuff I didn't know what the values were back then I paid $12,995 for mine a year ago and there's a lot that I've had to fix! Unfortunately mine does have a lot of rot! Yours is beautiful!
@@peachyclean93 Thank you! The condition all goes to previous original owner storing inside. It is insane what they are going for now. Mine is 'only' valued at 4k!!!! This Sept will be 8 years and from day one I said I would not let it go for less than 10k - I better up my price! LOL...But I'll never let it go - I'll be last owner or in the grave. Funny - just today I got everything running at home - AC, fridge, everything as a 2 day test run during 95 degree heat days - haven't used it yet but 4th of July is a 4 nighter - better make sure everything works!
@@StudioDaVeed that's awesome yeah I agree I just looked at a motorhome last week down the road from where I work and it's a 2009 and they wanted $55,000 for it and it was in rough shape! I'm like are you kidding me but the next day it was sold but then it's been reappearing every once in a while since it's been sold so! But that's awesome yeah my air conditioner works good refrigerator works good the water everything works it's just it's in rough shape yeah I completely agree I'm very particular about things so if it was mine from brand new it wouldn't be in the shape that it was in! No one sealed the seam at the bunkhouse that's why it was in such bad shape! And the roof is definitely expired but I'm going to try to do it the best I can!
The model is still made, yes. In fact last year I saw a brand new one (2017) that was 30 foot with slides. For many years; after my model year, when slides were introduced, the length was only about 25 foot.
The '94 to '96 (?) Tioga is the what they call the 32 footer. And yes that extra 6-7 feet makes the difference. Good luck, these older rigs in good condition are hard to find.
Git in Line, lol.... No plans to sell anytime soon...I may still have this in 10-20 years....Just put 4K in roof repair and all new roof covers and MaxxAir fans....LOVE those fans! ua-cam.com/video/fbWuiF2JSXs/v-deo.html
Hello. No not for sale (but I do still have it.) This was a video I made for my folks (in AZ) to show off years ago. If you ever find one and it is in good shape...jump on it. Thanks for asking. Dave
Yes it is considered a 32 footer. It is very comfortable considering this is pre-slide era. Fleetwood soon chopped off about 6 feet when slides came into play, but I see the 2017 went back to 30+ feet WITH slides.
The guy who owned the motorhome, his wife died, and he never used it since 2014. I also lost my wife in 2022 and then I lost my home in July 2024 and am now living full time in my motorhome. Yes it's kind of small but I have all he comforts if home including high speed internet and cable TV . I get free like because I have an Amazon firestick

Thank you and sorry to hear of your loss.
These rigs are very hard to find today and expensive!
A similar one went for $25k in my area last year!
Check this out!

Thanks! What a great community to join!
Yours is much nicer than mine! I'm having the same problems with the roof I'm doing it all myself I didn't want to sink 4 Grand into it!
Good luck!
Hopefully it is just the framing in the H-Channel like mine...

Cab is a standard E-350 Ford Van chassis with a 460 throttle body EI.
3 Speed tans with OD.
4500 watt gas generator.

Yes, most on-board gennys are designed to run the AC.
