- Bruges (Brugge) is the capital of West Flanders in Belgium. The city in the northwest of Belgium has several sights which make up for the sometimes chilly weather.
We start this evening walk the Sint-Salvatorskathedraal and then stroll for around 5 minutes towards the center’s market square (Markt). There we see the Belfry of Bruges - a medieval bell tower. We walk around to see several sights in the picturesque historical center like the Basilica of the Holy Blood.
After a while we walk a bit further out of the Burg quarter towards the Sint-Anna quarter. There we see some windmill, where we end this walk.

Been there. Wonderful medieval city. Very well preserved. Something we never have here in Southeast Asia.
Actually,well RESTORED..I have a friend who bought a house there in the early 60s.He saw it become what you see.Yes,I love the place.
Many towns in Europe benefitted like this.We tore down a lot of our old towns,and put up concrete.

Thank you! I'd love to go to Scandinavia and England soon. However, budget-wise I probably can't do it this summer as I have plans until August. Those many interesting places (and Ireland) will come eventually

Anybody else wonder about the beer bottle laying on the ground, starting at :45? Why doesn't anybody pick it up & dispose of it in a trash receptacle?

Yes, there are many streets indeed. Outside of the Burg area I also had to use a map. I did another longer 1h walk just in the historic center after that one. I'll put it online later as it shows more the maze. Nice town to get lost
Please compare with Maastricht , it is difficult to say wich one is better

What kind of gear are you using to film these videos?
I'm using a DJI Osmo Pocket and a Zoom H1 microphone for the audio here. Some newer videos use the DJI Pocket 2. The audio is optimized and synced before upload with the video. The info about the gear used for recording is always in the video description

How fast are you walking? The description says 60fps (feet per second). That is 3600 feet per minute or 40 mph. Can't be..

If not joking the "fps" refers to "frames per second" of the "4K" video. Overall walking speed should be 5-7 km/h or around 4 miles per hour. I just looked up the Usain Bolt max speed: 44.64kph or 27.8mph... Incredible...
This city is way cleaner than Frankfurt. So far, the only two cities that got much litters are Paris and Frankfurt.

The Osmo Pocket is quiet affordable as a 4K60 device. I had to buy it a second time now and would still recommend it. The original price of the Osmo Pocket is €359 yet you'll get it around 300 $/€ from many online shops these days. It's a good camera for such videos even after 1+ years on the market. For quick captures a decent phone or GoPro Hero 8 may be more useful. The startup time for the Osmo Pocket is a few seconds.. Glad you like the quality
