I live in Bruges and I really enjoyed your video. Great to hear that our city is interesting enough to stroll in for 4 days, and great that you visited more then only the must-see locations. Hope to grab a beer someday in De Republiek!
That is great to hear coming from a local, thanks so much. Yes, Bruges is so wonderful, with such history, museums, canals, architecture, food, and more that it needs several days to see it.
Thank you so much! Coming from a local, that means a lot to me. I love your city, as you can see. I also made a webpage about it with more information: townsofeurope.com/Belgium/Bruges.html
We’ve been there a few years ago, I wish that we were able to explore it, but time was not on our side. Would love to visit again. Thanks for the tour to see places that we didn’t have time to see.
Mussels and pizza are ok. But you didn't mention the FLAMISH KITCHEN !!! I'm dutch ( so not belgian! ) and live in Paris. But the Flamish kitchen is in my opinion the absolute most finest kitchen in the world !!! Never ever have I eaten such delicious and delicate food as in Ghent and Bruges. 😋😋😋😋
There are basically 3 kinds of venues selling chocolates or "pralines" as they are known in Belgium : The large brands : Neuhaus, Leonidas, Godiva. They have outlets everywhere. Decent at reasonable prices but don't expect the highest quality. The specialised shops : offer high-end quality, at a price. Their specialities may not be for everyone's taste. The tourist shops : offering medium quality (sometimes not even made in Belgium). Notice the bargains offering several boxes for a discount price. Guylian is such a typical tourist brand (their seashells are ok though).

Thank you for that rapid response.
What a good trip. 4 days doesn't seem like enough. Really big place!.
Good show as usual, thanks.
Awesome video, Dennis. You captured the sites beautifully and your walk-thru of Bruges was very thorough.
Brought back memories... your video encapsulates the city of Bruges perfectly.
fantastic walking and fantastic Bruges
