2021 Tata Tiago NRG price in India ( Ex-showroom )
1) Tiago NRG MT : Rs 6.57 lakh
2) Tiago NRG AMT : Rs 7.09 lakh
Prices for the regular Tata Tiago 2021 start at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and the range-topping XZA+ Automatic variant costs Rs 6.96 lakh (ex-showroom). For the premium that Tata is charging for the NRG, one gets better looks and a few features as well. It also gets black-colored roof rails, B-pillar, C-pillar, and claddings on the side. Even the door handles are no longer body-colored, rather they come dressed in black.
Under the hood, the Tiago will be powered by the same 1.2-litre petrol engine that does duty on the regular Tiago. While the Tiago is based on Tata’s older platforms, the production version of Tata upcoming SUV HBX will debut with the AltrozIt is tuned to produce 84bhp and 113Nm of torque. The transmission options include a five-speed manual and an AMT unit. With the introduction of BS6, Tata Motors is unlikely to launch the diesel derivative that was offered with the earlier NRG version. The Tata Tiago NRG will compete against the Maruti Suzuki Celerio X.

Being based on the top-spec trim, the Tiago NRG comes loaded with all the bells and whistles the Tiago offers. That includes a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, Harman sound system, steering-mounted controls, power windows, power folding wing mirrors, and height adjustable driver’s seat. Safety kit includes dual airbags, ABS, day-night rear-view mirror and rear parking sensors.
The boot space of Tata Tiago is 242 Litres.

The Tiago NRG also gets a new dual-tone 15-inch alloy wheels. The Tiago NRG is available in four color options - Foresta Green, Snow White, Cloudy Grey and Fire Red - and it also sees the addition of faux roof rails and a thick plastic trim on the tail gate with a NRG badge.The Tata Tiago competes in the mid-range hatchback segment, where it takes on the Hyundai Santro, the Maruti Suzuki Celerio and the Datsun Go.

I wish NRG has automatic ac and rear adjustable head rests. TATA lost a great opportunity by missing already included features. If not NRG would be a great package overall.

Driving main kya difference hai wo jo sabse important point hai, wo hi omit kar diya aapne. Cosmetic differences to bas dekhkar hi pata chal jaate. The real question was where there is any difference in the ride quality in both the cars, has Tata made any changes in the suspension setup of the NRG to impact the ride quality. Ground clearance badhaya hai to high speed stability compromise hui hai ya nahi, etc. Still a nice effort, hope you take this as constructive criticism as I mean no offense.

No. You can install roof rails but make sure you won't put a heavy weight on them.

NRG is a good option if you frequently travel through the countryside or wherever there are bad roads.

Ignis is you want better ride quality and smooth engine. Tiago have good build quality. If looking for AMT, then ignis is much better than Tiago AMT, which is very jerky. Also it's 3 star rated vs tiago 4 stars.

Yes with Tata cars people are safe but not their pockets. I feel it should be both.
Service centers ruin the Tata car feel and bill more evrytime saying that some parts need to be changed. We loose all the money there. It was better with my previous Maruthi Car.

Although Magnite looks bulky and its a compact SUV but I would not suggest you to buy Magnite due to its 1 Litre engine. I was also confused with the same thing but have finally decided to go for Tiago.
