I was fishing for 2 hours just like you said. I had no uniques but I had a lot of trophies. It was huge success in terms of XP. Than I decided to test other bait that catfish likes and had these results (I was counting Gilded and Redtail catfish only): Large liver: 13 fish Large Minnows: 10 fish (1 unique) Dead Lambari: 4 fish Prawns: 1 fish Meat Chunk: 5 fish (1 unique) It took about 4 hours to level up from level 63 to 64, but I was working while fishing and I was probably afk for at least an hour. Also, I guess that I would level up faster if I only used large liver and large minnows. Since 3 rods together provided same amount of fish as 1 rod with minnows. This is 100% fastest way to level up until Congo. I have Amazon DLC and I tested Amazonian Maze too, and you get less xp per hour.
KP i know that max drag doesnt work anymore but i cant catch fish at all. im in the exact same spot and its hard for a trophy to bite. is bolivia been nerfed or is just bad luck?

It gets destroyed and you won't be able to repair it so you'd have to buy a new one
