Eric Dier is the biggest fraud how he starts every game and gets called up is honestly ridiculous and a terrible shame. He literally assisted Salah in the Liverpool game now this. I cringe whenever I see him play and the entire situation is so so incredibly sad
He gets away with blunder after blunder as fans prefer to hound Emerson instead who I can guarantee hasn't made anywhere near as many mistakes while learning a new role as a younger player. Dier literally cost us two points today but fans are moaning about Sanchez who played a quarter of the game and looked ok.
@Deadly Dizzle Dier is protected for some strange reason and every new manager loves him. I don't understand why and it really drives me crazy. It's embarrassing and so annoying how he gets away with these cheap performances. So f****** cringe watching him play

This club actually fielded a backline of Dier, Tanganga, and Lenglet. Lenglet is decent but it's genuinely incredible that without Romero playing we have arguably the worst back line in the top half of the premier league maybe even more.
Also what happened to forster? Looked like we were better off putting Brandon austin out there
Crazy to think United started a better back line against Brentford than us and still lost 4-0 it's all down to Contes tactics

Why does Perisic only cross every time? When Sonny is no-marking near the box, pass him. Sonny scored a lot of goals from near the box. It's a question to think about why Sonny can't score a goal when placed on the left line with Perisic. How many times did Sonny touch the ball in the box in this game? That's just 0 times. This is fewer than Perisic and Doherty. Comparing their heatmaps, Sonny plays at a lower position than them. Although Sonny's form is not good because of a facial injury, Conte is not taking advantage of Sonny's strengths.

We have very high expectations for our team.Tottenham should not be a defensive team but an attacking team .And I think that is the problem that is eating us up.

I agreed if we don’t buck up by the end of Jan, we won’t even make top 6, leave alone top 4. If we can’t get a top class CCB/RCB, a proven quality RWB and another CAM (preferably box-to-box midfielder) to come in and play for us in Jan, then we are done just inside top 10. ManU and Liverpool will soon overtake us.
Please bring in a CB,RB, and if possible a creative CM if we want to finish top 4. Sunday league defending at the back.

Poor game again I'm guessing Harry will leave soon probably Son too...
I know he's wedded to a back-3 formation, and the squad's not great, but we've seen how playing a fluid 4-3-3 has helped teams. Spurs can't flow and they get outnumbered in central midfield a lot.
It is a dreadful and horrendous experience to see a defensive line like Dier, Emerson, Taganga.....They will have some good games but they also make mistakes and their qualities are just not reaching that required level. Worst still, they show no improvement for years.....Taganga is a player used by Poch, has he becomes better? Got to say, under Conte, Dier has found his best form and has some great games, but with time, he shows that he can't be the right man for the long-term future, he is a decent option for the bench.
But we need another player having the quality of Toby and Jan play along with Romero.
Personally, I like to suffer in silence. That's why I'm a Spurs fan.

Hate to disgrace others, but Dier must be out of the squad. He looks like enjoying the British premium in the team; however, we've all seen his horror show so much. Spurs don't need a forward. U need a decent center back. And I definitely can see Conte's failure now. The squad this season is not one team. Don't know the reason, but I can tell the atmosphere that the manager is making is not working. This season can be seen as a success in the results, but Spurs seems to lose many fans(including me). Sorry, but will not watch the game anymore. Nothing to expect.
I love all this dier hate on here. He makes a mistake, and the 'fan base' jumps on him. He directs and controls the defence and is a gd leader and a great servant to the club. How can us as fans know more than proven world class managers who have always backed him. No one played well yesterday at all but blame one player is a losers mentality.
