    Good video! Ive considered covering 1 or 2 of the barb holes to lower the temp a little bit. Also i would just wrap it and throw it in the oven so you dont waste charcoal.

      I have at times wrapped up some foil in a ball and plugged the holes. A magnet would work too, and yes I have been known to use the oven especially when the coals go out. Thanks for watching!

    Looks good John. Just got the PBX barrel at $199 @ academy sporting, and watching many vids. You going 170 gets better bark. Im thinking hanging the hooks at both ends, since i got a bigger barrel, so the tail of the brisket closet to the coals cooks even. Great job!
