I am watching it a day late here in Australia as I was busy Sunday having a stall at a flea market on the Sunshine Coast here in QLD. Is it sad that if I ever get to America I just really want to go to some flea markets? Maybe a couple of tourist places but truly just their flea markets and yard sales and vintage malls is what I want to visit.

WOW thats amazing for those"weird clothes" they will be good quality silks maybe even hand printed and dyed. What a find. There was a red patterned piece that looked interesting.There was also a embroidered scarf in a box that looked spanish. I would have bought it all!

At a Flea Market here in Seattle, the kimono's would have been $50.00 each, or more; an Obi, $25.00 each. Great score! So happy for you. I am right dab center of all the protests here in Seattle. I live in the Capitol Hill neighborhood where the epicenter is. Have fun!
I am over in Kitsap County. Must be pretty crazy living there right now with all your new neighbors. I bet you did not see that coming. Hopefully, things can be solved peacefully soon. If we can all come out of this having a better understanding, more compassion, and the change that is needed it will be worth it. Take care and stay safe.

LOL re "finding a real Rolex..." We were in Shanghai & the quantity of "Rolex" watches sold on the street is astounding.
One guy approached us and showed his selection of watches ... my husband held up his wrist, clad in a Timex or some such similar non-prestige brand (like, "I already have a watch") and the vendor barks out: "that not real Lolex!"
My husband pointed to one of the guy's watches and said, "that not real Lolex either!"
The guy dissolved in giggles.

One of your best videos!! The flea market was so pretty country, but the prices were great!! You should do very well in everything you found. Scores galore!! Also running into other UA-cam stars was fun.
If the dark kimonos are deep blue they maybe indigo dyed and more expensive. look them up you should get a lot more than $30 each for them.

Obis make great wall hanging especially from tall rooms or staircases to floors. I also occasionally cut them (bad from good fabric) and made smaller wall hangings and used the other bits and pieces for making small coin purses, patches and quilting pieces. Love so much of the stuff you bought it is hard to know what I like best.

I'm pretty sure those Kimono are either Komon or Yukata......basically informal kimonos for wearing around town, or at festivals or onsens. They should sell well. They are SUPER comfortable.

Wow the prices at this market are crazy low ! hope you did get that pink kimono belt , some people use them for table decorations or to place at the end of their beds , I was hopeing you were going to get the matching yellow bag & shoes aswell , That other vender with the brooches you purchased $25 worth of pins etc , then you said you were at $28 Dave , he agreed , at the end you cost yourself $3 😃 but you will make up for that anyway he definately needed a strong shot of coffee, I thought it was sweet that the rocket picture man recognised you Dave , the voice 😊 I still think you need T-Shirts made , saying , arghhh thats a almost 😁 love that saying .Thanks Dave awesome upload ✌
Bbd, great deal on the kimonos. Those are called “obit belts” for the kimonos. And the great books are great buys also... mostly on Japanese poetry and calligraphy. God bless.... u will do well in reselling. Like u said, “those weird clothes”.
