This is awesome, my girlfriend and I are doing the Alaska quilt for 2024 too. We have the pattern and fabrics, looking forward to your quilting inspiration!
Hey ladies, thanks for getting my creative juices flowing. I am hoping to actually learn how to use my Prostitcher feature. I am terrified of it and have no idea of where to start. Yes, the dealer and installer showed me what to do, but my pea brain doesn't register information like that in a few-hour sessions, and I am way too far away geographically to run down to them and take in-person lessons. Zoom works OK but it isn't the same as having someone standing right next to you. I'd appreciate any tips and tricks for how to get past deer-caught-in-the-headlights phase...have a blessed New Year!!
I would recommend that you go through all the videos at www.prostitcher.com under Learn and then Pro-Stitcher Education. If you scroll to the bottom of the page, there are also printable tutorials. I would highly suggest that you download the Getting Started with Pro-Stitcher for Premium & Lite Versions. If you go through the packet, you will be on your way to success.
Kim your Alaska quilt tops are stunning 🤩 with your amazing Color selection. I am so glad that Kristina made sure that we got to see them! Beautiful work.
So happy to see that the Alaska quilt is going to be featured in 2024. My sister asked me if I would make her a quilt, and of course I told her to pick out what she would like. Alaska quilt was her pick. Well I just really started quilting 5 years ago, now I kind of consider myself a intermediate quilter at the most. I’ve made the quilt this pass year and was gifted to her for her 65th birthday. The quilt was in a close version of the original Alaska quilt, used ruler work for 90% with a little free in the inner border on my domestic Jamone Continental M7. Lots of work, but she was definitely worth the effort and I learnt a lot from the process. Thanks for sharing your projects and looking forward to see what you do with yours. 👍❤️😊

The Alaska quilt has been on my list. I have all the fabrics. Hopefully 2024 is the year to complete it!
There were a lot of great shows in 2023. I am looking forward to see more in 2024

Excited for what you have planned in 2024 🎉
Kristina, would you mind explaining microquilting? How is it different from free motion?
Microquilting is a form of free motion. It is just quilting really small.

I love the Alaska quilt. It is on my list!
Merry Christmas!
Do you do a full wash and rent cycle when you wash your quilts
It depends on the quilt, the quilting, the materials, etc.
❤
Love the look
