Everyone now needs to be patient, because we won’t see any major improvements overnight.
However, I’m now finally feeling confident of our clubs long term future, I genuinely believe we have a real chance of getting back the powerhouse (on the pitch) that we once were, but that will take time to achieve.
I would imagine INIOS will have a 3 year plan, a 5 year plan and possibly even a 10 year plan, each with a different goals.
Therefore now is the time we need to come together as a fan base and support the team and the manager, along with Sir Jim and whoever he appoints.
In my humble opinion, I think it’s about time that the constant toxicity ends.

Sounds mad to say Sir Alex was underrated, but when you hear how many people we’re looking to recruit for various positions and their roles you start to understand that what he achieved and the way he did it, without an entire country funding it is almost unfathomable. We really did take it for granted back then. But seeing how Jim and Ineos are moving forward, it’s very encouraging.

You`re overselling it a little bit. Truth is football clubs used to be a lot smaller back then. They were part of the community and not gigantic international soulless corporations. Back in the day the chairman of the club would regularly go and talk to the medias and the fans could get together and demand meetings with the board. Managers would spend their free time traveling here and there doing scouting.
Things used to be a lot more interpersonal and small scale.

City also spent 50m on Phillips who has played less minutes for City than Amrabat has for United.
Grealish for 100m who is a glorified cheerleader and makes more appearances on their youtube channel and kit releases than on the pitch.
Gvardiol for 80m, Nunes for 55m. Lots of flops that get carried by the City system whilst United's signings have to immediately come in and elevate a broken team. 20 year old Hojlund expected to match Haaland/Kane numbers.
United need a system, a collaborative approach and a willingness to step away from negotiations without desperation. Can't imagine how much of a flop Grealish at 100m on 300k a week would be for United doing absolutely nothing and relying on the team to carry him. Hes an Antony level player with KDB level PR from the english media.

A club needs to be run properly at board level. We used to get Vidic, Evra, and Rafael type players from obscure clubs at good fees, and talent from within the prem to improve our team. Meanwhile City were signing dross. Now they are plucking Dias, Laporte, and Akanji from second tier European clubs at good fees, whilst we are getting Lindelöf, Bailly, and Rojo and can’t keep them fit to even play! And don’t get me started on the Antony and Maguire deals!!

I think Jim has earned the respect and trust of doubters already, installing the best of the best, and focusing on the issues we all know needed to be rectified. For the first time in almost 20 years, we can all be positive that the club's footballing interests are in good hands, with the right decisions being made the the right reasons.
These guys recognise that United can be the biggest club in the world again very quickly with the right moves, and it doesn't surprise me that Berrada has jumped at the project under Ratcliffe.

You're spot on Ste. The sheer levels of difference with the new backroom staff will have a profound influence on how we do business going forward. Our current under 18s are doing a madness and are clearly a talented group, respect to Nick Cox who'll surely be kept around by the new regime. Not all of them will make the grade for the first team, but those that don't should still fetch millions when sold unlike the ludicrous fees for the likes of Zidane and Mengi.
This will make us the financial giant we should be once again, able to compete for the future Bellinghams , etc.

We've spent so much the last 10 years and we've barely gotten anything out of it, those investments and the debt we've acrued can only be called an unmitigated failure.
