Just bought one of these in black. I love it. Can't wait to learn to play it. My father was great playing guitar. Sadly he passed away in 2017, so I think learning to play the guitar is one way to pay tribute to him and keep his legacy.
nice man. I got the one in black as well. been playing for many years and it's always been a passion of mine. if I may share some advice with you. the key to learning is imo to learn songs that you like from the get go. you'll be able to have fun and enjoy the process as you recognize what you are playing. soon you'll notice all that you can do with just a few chords that are always the same being used. for sure lessons and theory is great but that's not the route I've taken. have fun!
I got one of these as a second guitar and i wasn’t expecting much. When i got it out of the box it was much darker than on the pictures and quite a bit darker than the one in this video. It felt a lot like my dads old roadworn fender acoustic and sounds fantastic I must have got a good one because i play it every day and i can’t fault it
great playing, and also great sounding guitar! You just convinced me in buying this guitar, was stuck bettewen yamaha fgx800 or the fender cd60sce, the price diference is almost 100 euros, thank you!
Great review, great sound! Would you prefer this one or the Yamaha F370DW? Is this the best guitar for this budget? What songs are you playing in this video? Thanks!
Fajny twardy sound. Do tej pory myślałem o zakupie Takamine GD10 w podobnej cenie. Takamine chyba manualnie ma szerszy gryf co dla mnie na plus by było. Fender robi ok :) Oczywiście gitarzysta super selektywnie gra. Klasa
Sounds much more bright than CD60. I think I like the CD60 more tbh, it sounds fuller in the lower register. Anyway, I have to try them both in real. Any plans for demos of electro-acoustic versions?
@@Shady_-mp1kq None of them actually. I spent a bit more than I planned and went with Takamine GD15CE. I'm glad I did, because difference is massive. I tried these Fenders and they sounded very plastic and liveless compared to Takamine. Of course, this is expected considering different price range. I would say these Fenders are ok for the price, and perhaps you could do a few cheap modifications to bring a bit more life to them. Also, I've got to admit the neck is quite comfortable.
I would love to, but I can't. None of these guitars is dedicated for anything specific. Both are just Dreadnought. There is nothing that one has and the other doesn't that would make it better for fingerstyle.
@@vawrzyn then which one do you prefer for me sir . Which one's sound and quality is better. Actually i have no other option to buy guitar online without any try coz. Where i lived there is no store of these instruments. I am begininer and want better playability and ear loving voice guitar🙏

yeah but they're easy to remove nut...and yes replacing the nut & saddle for bone plus replacing the strings with quality ie elixar strings makes a big difference!
Darek Wawrzyniak thanks for the fast reply, sorry for bothering, but I was also wondering how one can get better at chord changes? I practice daily but still struggle to change between chords good.
@@theresasnakeinmyboot3006 Chord changes takes time. Unfortunately I can't give you any tip on this. It just needs to be done constantly and someday you'll get it done :)
Darek Wawrzyniak okay, thank. And are these are these strings steel or nylon? What would u prefer to play on an acoustic? And which is easier stings to play on? And how do I know if I have fret buzz? Sorry for asking so many questions I’m a beginner and am waiting for this guitar to be shipped to my house:)
@@theresasnakeinmyboot3006 It is not an option. Nylon strings are for classical guitars. You will not be able to tune your guitar properly or it will not sound even close to classical. there are some cheap crapy hybrids that make not that much of a difference but for a typical Dreadnought(like CD60), nylon strings = no chance to tune it properly + total loss of low end. How do I know? People came to me to fix it back, after they restringed acoustic with nylon strings. In a few guitars the result was the same. There are huge constructioanl differences between classical and acoustic - different nut slots width, different strings spacing, flat vs radius fingerboard, different body shape and different measure setup - classical has more even strings thickness so it doesnot need that much of angle on the bridge saddle.
Hey, Please reply to this if possible. You have tried the CD60 and CD60S. Would you say a $100 difference is worth it to go for CD60S. I've already ordered by the way haha.
Hey Yash. It is too difficult to respond. You really need to try for yourself. Sometimes there are very little differencces even between expensive, 3k $ and 6k $ guitars. For CD60S There is a significant construction difference which is a solid top instead of ply-wood. I do feel the difference and I would personally would pay for it. It's subtle - don't expect a day to night difference. If you plan to travel with this instrument a ply-wood is more reasonable choice. Solid top can literally break if you don't care for proper storage conditions.
I had many CD60 and CD60S in my hands, when I was working at music shop. Conclusion is always similar - manually the same but you can hear the difference....unfortunately much more in real than you can expose in recording. I would say it has reacher highs - less "windy" more musical but it is not a day to night difference.
