She also said that forgiveness should be given to someone who “asks for it.” She also implies that forgiveness should only be extended as “compensation” in exchange for a beneficial act.
I don’t know if she were attempting to speak from a biblical perspective on forgiveness, but that’s not my understanding of the Bible.
I say this with all due respect, the modern day Bible has a lot missing books in it that the catholic church remove. Please do your research on the different versions of the Bible and how they remove certain books and scripture from it.
