Mike , two things. First I want to thank you for the great video on this awesome video and second, I sincerely want to apologize for a harsh criticism I gave you a few years ago on your videos. Please forgive me sir. Last, I think there seems to be a problem with the Casio website on viewing the owners manual and downloading them. Thanks again for the demo on this great keyboard
Thanks for the instruction, Mike. Re: setting controllers for individual Hex Layer parts I have come to the conclusion that they only work on Upper 1. I have a few Registrations that I have set up to use controllers for individual Hex Layer parts and they only worked when I set those patches in upper 1. If Mike or anyone else has a way around that please share here or in the forum. Thanks.
It would be nice is you added a menu of what your covering in this video,so one could just watch a section of what one prefers, per question, good video though.
Hi Mike, I find your video tutorials very helpful. I just got this PX-560 and it is on firmware v1.12. Could you confirm that the version you were demo/teaching with has the latest v1.14 firmware that you are using? In regards to v1.12 on mine, my expression pedal (a M-Audio EX-p) seems to work smoothly and does not exhibit the jumpy volume bug reported by early users on firmware v1.10. I am also asking about firmware versions here because of the bug you encountered in this video with the Upper2 Hex Layer channels not responding to the expression pedal control. I wonder if you ever determined if it is a bug in the firmware or was it a user settings error you made somewhere? I have not begun to explore setting up hex layers yet on mine as I just got it yesterday! Anyway, hope you can let us know what the root cause was and if it can be fixed in a future firmware update. Thaniks for all your great informative tutorials. Much better than trying to read thesmall and dim fine print in the manual!
Do you plan any software upgrade that allow PAN the metronome? Or at least create a click option on rhythm percussion to give us a way to use the arpeggio in a band? We can't even use a external drum machine because this piano can't send or receive MIDI clock. The piano is great, and since it have all this resources, allow us to use it on a band. The drummer must have the click as a guide. I myself only need a 3 by 4, 4 by 4 and 6 by 8. I can live with only this 3. But you made this keyboard not able to comunicate with any midi device in sync, so everything must be do internaly, so is up to you guys, you did made a great product, now allow us to use it where we want. the metronome PAN is the best way to go. Thank you for this live Q&A.
Thank you for answer, but since i cant make my own beat track, nor even load a midi file for it, i must deal with what have there as rhythm since i also cant have full edition of the part, isn't what i asking for. What i ask is a way to have a click to drummer so one can use all great resources it have like arpeggio, delay for guitar solos, all in sync with the band. Right now one can use in a band, just the sounds it have, not effects, not arpeggios, unless the musician no care about sync, but for professionals(since it's a pro piano) is a must. So i'm asking you to give us an upgrade with a metronome pan or a midi clock as one way for us to use a external metronome. Right now(sounds apart) all the great resources it have is useless in a band.
I have this keyboard and really think it is great. However, I sure wish that a person would be able to have quicker access to specific tones to play, using the FULL keyboard, when playing live. I'm not sure if maybe using the registration feature is a way to do that, but not being able to switch from a piano tone to say a "Hex" tone quickly, without having to go into the TONE menu, and use the down arrows to flip through all the tones to finally get what you want, when playing live, is a real drawback. If anyone knows how to get quick access to specific tones on the fly, and the tone plays on all the keys, please let me know. Thanks.
How can I factory reset the PX-560M When press the tempo buttons and the power button the screen looks the same as it always does. I am stuck on the Casio Privia screen.
This keyboard/stage piano is phenomenal. So much you can do and very affordable.
Excellent demo, you have got me thinking about getting the PX-560.

How would I get notified about future Privia 560 events?
I have my own and want to learn.
They're usually announced on the Casio Music Gear Facebook page and the Casio Music Forums.
I wish I could get one. ♥️
Thank you kindly Mike!
Why is there no default rotary speaker speed control? 46:26. Kind of important on the Hammond organ sounds.
exactly
Does this keyboard support .sty rhythm files from the usb port?

This question was addressed in the video, it can be done but you'd have to eliminate your system effects.

How's the Hammond B3 sound? Is it controllable with an expression pedal? I'm sold if I can get a good Leslie effect out of this thing.

How would you record a piece from the PX-560, via the built-in USB port or via an audio interface?
great stuff bur what about your very best acoustic piano sound.
How can I factory reset the PX-560M When press the tempo buttons and the power button the screen looks the same as it always does. I am stuck on the Casio Privia screen.
