That wide spot you pass at about 1:40 is immediately after the second right hand turn. Great private safe quiet spot to spend the night. Last time I did that it was a full moon coming over the ridge. Awesome!
I enjoyed this drive on our return from Grand Junction Co. Thanks for posting the video. It is a beautiful part of our country. Enjoyed the video very much, you do such a good job in editing them. Be safe and catch you later.😊😊😊
Really enjoyed the "Creek Whistle" music to go with the beautiful scenery. Would it posible for you to record 'just the engine' working hard the next time you are hauling 43,000 lbs up a road like this please? I love listening to a good big diesel engine on full song and pulling hard. Keep well and safe travels. David in the UK.
It's like an alternate universe. Right this second I'm climbing out of St George. Just went through the gorge a few minutes ago. River is flowing high right now! ETA: Proof this is current footage (other than river flow) is that you crossed Bridge 1 in the right lane! They just finished that and opened it up a couple days ago! Hope it doesn't take 2 more years to finish the rest of the bridge project 😆
😃😃😃We are now heading south again! Just passing Exit 129 on I-15. If you’re heading to SLC we’ll probably pass each other! 😁😁😁👋👋👋👋 You know our truck. 😆 What are you driving?
This video brought back a flood of good memories. Had the pleasure of going through the Virgin River Gorge three times. It was a punctuation mark to the many eye popping, gob smacking vistas and mind blowing geology I saw during my haul from Newfoundland to L.A. Down in the gorge one felt insignificant. Once west of Council Bluffs the lay of the land became even more interesting and westward from Denver on the I-70 it was visual sensory overload. It was difficult to concentrate on driving. The Glenwood Canyon, Grand Junction area, and the San Rafael Swell were some of the other highlights. I think it is safe to say that the U.S. is probable the only country to have such a varied landscape. And so accessible. Canada has it's share of beautiful vistas but many are hard to get to. It was a great memory trip. I really enjoy your videos .
Great video! One of the most enjoyable things about our profession has to be the view out our office window. Love your channel! Thanks for the TP. LOL! Take care and be safe out there. Love Ya! 🙏🏻✌🏻❤️😁😎

@@mikegsvlogs2084 Nice! Bet you have some gorgeous drives too!!! Extra good wishes coming your way for staying safe with winter in the mountains!
Nice socks Kevin!
I love your shirt Tayna 🎉🎉
😆😆😆👍🍀🍀🍀
If I’m not mistaken that’s the most expensive road every built
At the time, yes. Highest cost per mile of US interstate
Thanks for that info.
Has there ever been a time that you or maybe someone you heard of couldn’t get up the mountain because the load was too heavy?
Haven’t heard that. But we’ve seen some trucks as end very slowly! And we’ve seen some trucks overheat and taking a break on the side of the road.
Kevin, did you get hit by that piece of tire thrown from the four wheeler passing the slow mover in the left lane?
No. We were very lucky!!
used to drive for JB hunt then Cannon express then ended with CFI, do you see them out on the road, thanks for the lift, take care and be safe
Hey there! Glad to have you along! Yes. We see CFI out here. 😃
Has your new truck get on Kevin
Good! But…it’s still a Freightliner. ☹️
I love that ride thank you. I lived in Junction Utah and that was my favorite part of the trip to the dispensary in Mesquite.❤️
What state is this Arizona or utah
The entire gorge is in AZ. I-15 runs through 29 miles of the corner of AZ, the actual canyon section is 11 or 12 miles I think.
Arizona. 😃
Dose that truck ride beter
Not really. It’s still a Freightshaker. 🤦♀️ But it does steer better.
👍👍
