I love how you hear both perspectives on this song. It's really tragic because you can tell that not only is the girl angry and sad that the protagonist killed her boyfriend, she feels betrayed and heartbroken because she genuinely enjoyed being the protagonist's friend and he had to fuck that up by letting his jealousy and mental issues get the best of him Like there's so much emotion and pain in the line "What have you done to my friend?! You are not him!"
This darkness now overcomes my common sense be honest impulsive actions made a mess this darkness That part is goddamn banger to the ears number one favorite song from these guys painfully underrated 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😈
"How could you call me a fucking monster?! (A Monster?!) After everything that I've done for you!" That's pretty much near the time in the short story he killed her c.x
has to be one of the best albums i have heard in a long time. I find some of the songs hopeless yet helpful. The band has an interesting twist of reality that fits everyone's life at one point or another. great job guys keep it up!!!
Intro: Jeremy Tollas] What have you done? [Verse 1: Jeremy Tollas] Alone in the dark, I walk into your bedroom The blood and the knife That you used to condemn him to his tomb [Chorus 1: Jeremy Tollas] This darkness has overcome your common sense Be honest, impulsive actions made a mess This darkness like a fire burning red So vicious A heartless monster not a man Big Boss Vette “Pretty Girls Walk' Official Lyrics & Meaning | Verified [Post-Chorus: Jeremy Tollas] How could you call me a fucking monster? (A monster?) After everything that I've done for you [Verse 2: Jeremy Tollas] Baby don't scream You know I did this all for you and me Now just say you forgive me, and that you're happy You're driving me crazy, you've driven me crazy Bitch don’t scream You know I did this all for me Now just fucking forgive me, you better be happy You're driving me crazy, you've driven me crazy [Chorus 1: Jeremy Tollas] This darkness has overcome your common sense Be honest, impulsive actions made a mess This darkness like a fire burning red So vicious A heartless monster not a man [Bridge: Jeremy Tollas, and Scott Barnes] Now just close your eyes Stop and listen to what you're saying Never say goodbye You're scaring me Innocence will die What have you done to my friend? I was referring more to the dark nature and plot of the story told in Two-Faced Charade. An album written about suicide awareness/prevention, although a very noble theme, (in my mind, at least) still doesn't compare. The lyrics in this album are among some of the best written on any album I've ever listened to. They get really creative with Two-Faced Charade. I hope their new, upcoming album will compare! I still thought Council of the Dead was decent. :)
Iske Zandbergen it has to be the demon and the girl, because she says "what have you done to my friend? you are not him." in the movie trailer it shows that they were "friends", at least in her eyes

That's pretty much near the time in the short story he killed her c.x
he kills her in the last song
No. He kills her bf.
He kills her in "The Show Must Go On" part 2
that's the last song of the album sooo that's what I said
+CreepyPastaReads he never said anything about killing her?
he's saying it's a quote around that time in the short Film people
Shit lit a fire in me I haven't felt in months

What have you done?
[Verse 1: Jeremy Tollas]
Alone in the dark, I walk into your bedroom
The blood and the knife
That you used to condemn him to his tomb
[Chorus 1: Jeremy Tollas]
This darkness has overcome your common sense
Be honest, impulsive actions made a mess
This darkness like a fire burning red
So vicious
A heartless monster not a man

Now just say you forgive me, and that you're happy
You're driving me crazy, you've driven me crazy

[Bridge: Jeremy Tollas, and Scott Barnes]
Now just close your eyes
Stop and listen to what you're saying
Never say goodbye
You're scaring me
Innocence will die
What have you done to my friend? You are not him
This face is my disguise
You're scaring me
[Chorus 2: Jeremy Tollas]
Don't lose your head, keep your smile
Pull it together just for a while
My darling don't let go at all
Not ever no
Don't be afraid, open your eyes
You may be in for a surprise
The light is closer than it may seem
[Post-Chorus: Jeremy Tollas]
You will never leave me
You will never be with anyone else
[Outro: Jeremy Tollas]
This darkness is hollow
Your pride you will swallow it whole
Or it will be the end of you
So bite your tongue, you will stay strong
Or a lifeless, worthless, corpse you will become
One kiss, be forever my mistress

I still thought Council of the Dead was decent. :)
So is half of this song from the girl's perspective?
I don't know, that or it's the sane side of him peeking through and freaking out
It might be between both his personalities.
Boohooi12 Vengonva yeah that would make more sense :)

Daklarel okay thank you c:
