Cameraman gone rogue!! Love your humor! Good looking and running tractor - Had no idea Bolens made such a tractor until I started watching your channel! 👍👍👍

Thanks 👍 Despite living the other side of the pond, we have a number of great US made garden tractors including our Bolens. The build quality is fantastic. Take care

Thanks 👍 I love the noise the HT23's make too. They are great machines to have and use around our property. It is good to still be able to use 40+ year old tractors as workhorses. Thanks for watching and commenting, take care

Nice to have the mower deck mounted to one, and nice to have the other for pulling or blading. Great to hear the steering is spot on as well ! Great work fellows !

Thanks 👍 You are spot on, that is exactly what we plan to do with these two tractors. It can be a pain to pull trailers with a tractor fitted with a deck and it is good to have a backup tractor that can be used for mowing if needed. Take care

Good day eh!!! The 2 Bolens look good out there Joseph!! It won't take long to mow the yard now, that is if you have a mower for the new HT23!!! Nice job getting this one back in working order. Lots of much needed repairs and attention to little things. It'll be a good addition to your fleet!! Take care!!

Thanks. We do have a deck for the new HT23 but it needs to be rebuilt, another project lol. We hope that by doing all the work on the tractor it will be more reliable. Take care

Great Video. Those are two Beautiful Bolens Tractor and all the Excellent Work You put into them has certainly shown through in watching how wonderful they Perform. After watching Your Videos and Your Dedication to the Great Bolens tractors, which I have enjoyed very much, I wish You lived Closer to me , so I could Gladly GIVE YOU the two old Bolens I have sitting here, fot You to Rescue. I know, one way all the other, Parted out or Completed, You would make Good use of them and Truth is I fear I simple do NOT have the time to give them the attention they need to Bring them back to life . Keep Up the Good Work Young man, I look Forward to Your Future Bolens Projects... Godspeed

Thanks for the kind words. It is interesting that you have two Bolens, what models are they? In the past we have got some very rough looking Bolens working again and I wish you were closer. We would like to do more work on these tractors but for the moment we want to use them and see how well they work. Take care

Glad you could get out and ‘stretch their legs’ so to speak. We do call them grease zerks over here 😁 The engine noise sounds a bit different with the different exhaust locations 👍

They look like stout lawn tractors! Nice big rear wheels! Also nice to see a grease nipple you can get straight on too!! Makes my John Deere machines look like kid’s toys. Nice video bud!!

Thanks. They are great machines and built really well. Most parts are easy to get to but you would not want to change the starter motor as the engine has to come out

    Hello Joseph,
Good to see the new HT23 in action... Maybe we need to see a tractor tug of war between the new and old HT23... See you next week.
    Take care.

Same weather here in Connecticut but we had 2 days of 100*F temps. It's been too hot or too wet to work outside this week. Nice Pair of HT23s. Now you need to get a front end loader for one of them. Happy Fourth of July. Good Luck, Rick

Thanks, it is great to have two HT23's. A FEL would be fantastic but we would have to look into importing one as they are very rare over here. I hope you had a great 4th July, take care

@@GardenTractorBoy I would bet that your Dad could build an FEL if he had the time. There used to be plans in the GTT Manuals Section. Even a simple one similar to the ones that mount like a front plow and only lift 6" would be fun. Maybe just a bottom and sides onto the plow that you just built. To load a cart with one of those, you have to build a ramp to drive up on, to dump down into the cart. That's how we loaded dump trucks with bulldozers in the Army, many years ago. Good Luck, Rick

Any thought of laying the new HT23 muffler horizontal like the other? Your steering on the new HT23 is likely better than most new tractors. Working on my shop today. Is 40c today so I have the water cooler on in the shop to reduce fatigue. I'd like to have a bit of your weather just for a short while. Your labor has paid off quite well. Your cameraman had done a great job keeping up with you! Have a great weekend!

We are not sure about the muffler at the moment and the nuts on the manifold are very rusty. The steering is great., thanks. Our workshop can get very hot in the summer as the roof and outside walls are all black. Take care

It's been boiling hot here the last few weeks, but it has cooled down a bit today. In the province of British Columbia on the west coast, they broke all heat records this past week. They recorded a temp of 49c!!!!!.To hot for me Lol. I would need some Big J's prune juice to cool me off. The tractors are running great. Take care

One lil trick I do when I grease my steering knuckles on my GTs ...I try to jack up the front of the tractors to take the weight off the front wheels. In my opinion it seams to help get grease into the lower thrust washers.
Or maybe it just makes me feel good, but it seams to often allow grease to come out the bottom . I take that as a good sign...
    Just a thought

I absolutely love the Bolens tractors. What are your plans for using them together? Do you have a second mower deck. It would be interesting to see how the new one does pushing snow with the Ag tires on the rear. Thanks for sharing - cheers

We have a second mower deck but it needs to be rebuilt. One will be our main grass cutting machine and the other will be used mainly for towing at the moment but also as a back up mower. Take care
