After watching and listening to the demo's on this pedal MANY Times .. I found one for sale locally in perfect condition and bought it .. IT IS AWESOME !!! It is warm and the delay sounds beautiful !!! This one is a keeper on my pedal board !! Thanx to all the great player's who create these pedal and amp demo's !!

Just bought this pedal, picking it up on Friday. Diamond make excellent pedals, and Pete does excellent demos!
I was at a Lifehouse show two days ago and their new guitarist has this delay, that's why I'm watching this video now. I was just in front of him so I did pay attention to the way he used it and it was perfect. Very easy to use live. And I like the fact you can switch modes

Great sounding pedal with lots of features. Would love to see a ducking/dynamic volume feature on more delay pedals like this - a very useful thing imo.
It sure is. But most of the delays that have a ducking delay, dont swell the volume back up fast enough to my liking. So when u stop playing the first repeats are not load enough

Wonder if the extra faux tape mode does slab back sounds well? I bet it probably does.
Ok, I know it is a (very) old thread but I'll answer, from my own humble experience, for those who may be asking the same question and stumble upon that video... I own, love and use a lot my Counter Point delay and Peter do a fantastic job at showing some of the possibilities here but, personally, I'd prefer a super simple analog delay (Ibanez AD9 vintage or mini version for example) for slapback. The Keeley Memphis Sun is another great option for a vintage voiced slapback/reverb all-in-one solution too... hope it helps... And I 'm not saying that the Counter Point can't do slapback. I'd go with the vintage setting with very short delay and 2 and a half repetitons max. ;)

Side note: Do you like that Vox AC15HW behind you? I imagine you have modded it?
It’s pretty good, ya! It has a Weber alnico speaker now, came with a greenback and I like alnico for Vox. Other than that- pretty stock
