It's impressive...in the same way as a stranger's three-year-old child's portrait of a parent. You need _all_ the context to appreciate how good it actually is! I don't think songwriters should be worrying too much yet, but wait until AI grows up a bit more...
Then what? Mainstream will continue to be bad like it always has been and the real music will continue to not be on the radio like it always has been? Literally nothing changes.
@@derpderpin1568 I don't want to predict the future, but I know some of the past. I'm old enough to have heard even prog epics like Genesis _Supper's_ _Ready_ or Rush _2112_ played on BBC Radio One, which is a really mainstream station, so things can change (because they have in the past). All I'm saying is, AI might get good enough to put songwriters out of a job but it's not there yet.

Mainstream music since the 60s and everything that's been on the radio since is extremely generic and formulaic stuff reusing the same boring melodies over and over again. We're not losing anything if AI replaces the people that churn that garbage out. You won't even notice a difference. Real great music has always been off the airwaves where true top talent gets very little exposure. You will never hear actual all-time greats like Periphery or Polyphia on the radio regardless so why do we care literally at all about AI in music? It's just another piece of trash going in to what is already a garbage can.
Honestly, this was way better than I expected it to be.
🤣🤣🤣
It's actually sad that it lost the structure because with some cropping and some tweaks, there's actually a pretty banger song on there.
it's not bad, but also it sounds like a rap written by an out-of-touch adult. Which I don't think fits the vibe... or does it? 😅
😂
Could be an infuriating intro song for the channel 🤷♂️🫣

Commercial music has been bad for like 70 years so we're not losing anything.
I mean, its kinda hilarious for a channel intro song.

That’s an interesting point.
Compare the phenomenal playing on 70s and 80s themes to what we get today
