- UFL Beta made some WAVES this weekend, here's my thoughts on it and how we HOPE to see it continue affecting the football gaming space.

I just want more football games in general! More games, more opportunities, more competition… it’s very much needed. EA has been stagnant with no competition. Thanks for sharing Nate!
UFL needs a lot of work. But it was more fun than FC. Loved the menus, the tactics, the leveling of players. But it was more fun because there was space. It felt more natural. Manual defending was great. Manual play mattered.
The fact that you say the graphics even compared to those of EA is crazyyyyyyyyy. Huge fan, watching you for almost a year now and by far the craziest take you have.
Finesse shots defo need nerfing. Every finesse was a goal
Its a beta the potential is there no overpowered ai defending not conceding kick off goals every game. Fifa or eafc isnt getting better its getting worse every year ufl might actually make ea up there game
If the full game being refined and can be more relastic . The game can be on bar with Ea Fc .

This is an insta buy for me. I just hope it doesn't become a card collecting game like EAFraudC. And as long as we're not funneled into what they want us to do like EA does.
When it comes to how much more economy you get per game, that was way better than EA FC. FC needs to give us more coins and increase our coin earned. In UFL the letters seemed a little too small and i had to squint and lean forward to read everything
Definitely don’t want gameplay to be anywhere near EA FC. Need more realism gameplay. EA way too unrealistic, Fast pace end to end. The pace of this is perfect. Does need a lot of work though

EAFC regurgitates the same stuff year on year. People pay for reskins of a broken fifa game. UFL has to have its own identity. Something new and fresh. This will force EAFC to become better. No one is wishing death on the EA franchise. They simply need to stop tryong to force people to over spend on their broken program. Us as consumers needs more protection from these types of gaming studios. There is nothing wrong with paying for content; however saying that, you shouldn't pay for the same thing year on year. Normal Bap, team of the week Bap, ToTS BAP. And then next year you do the same. Same game just new kits and 2 new skills.
Whilst understanding it's a beta I went in open minded and came out thinking efootball is better. Game has potential but needs a lot of work on gameplay for it to compete.

No as it needs a better mode than career mode
There has been a massive hole in the market since pes went shit that made lots of players chose fifa coz pes was finished & now all the pes fans a screaming for something fresh & even fifa heads want something new!. So it’s win win for a competent company who can do it right.

they are literally paying you to talk about their game, that alone should explain a lot of the positivity in your comparison.
The game looks and plays like a mobile game, thats all i can say without being mean. Robotic ass animations, horrific delay, broken gameplay (Finesse being insanely op, defending being no where near rewarding with opponents ghosting thru tackles..etc)
This game will no where get close to FC, sadly. the Pay to win aspect is already obvious in the beta, not hard to see where they are taking it.

@Best_Fabson EA betas always feel close to a complete game. UFL is 3 years in the making and still sucked. It will take years for them to get anything close to Ea's level and that is alarming considering how inconsistent FC 24 and the last few fifas have been.
I don't want to sound overly toxic because it is a beta of a new game by a new developer, but this ain't it. I disagree with almost all points you made on this tweet/video.
For me the gameplay was a gigantic letdown:
- Even though we finally got "consistent gameplay", it was VERY unresponsive
- Shots and passes buffer when they shouldn't
- Ball speed is completely nuts and unpredictable
- Tackles are useless
- You CAN NOT sprint unless you want to lose the ball so you can't take advantage of space
- Free kicks, corners and penalties use a hugely outdated system we got in Fifa 7-8 years ago
- Tactics with fewer that 7 attacking players (midfield + attack) give no player movement, which forces 3atb meta
There are pluses of course, mainly the transparency and communication the developers gave during this beta for the issues we were encountering (mainly EU servers), but would that actually work in a larger live game scale? I doubt it.
Unfortunately, EA will keep their monopoly of this market for a lot longer...
ea has had nearly two decades to make their game better, I think giving ufl a few months is more than warranted tbf
