Reckon Essendon should hold onto two firsts next year rather than trading back into the first round this year. Having 2 potential top 10 picks next year gives added flexibility to go for a star next offseason or retool depending on how the season goes.
It is nice to hear Hawthorn mentioned. Being so late in the draft we are not in the spotlight at all. I recently saw a video of Mitch Lewis running for the first time since his ACL. He reminded everyone to not ignore the talent available in the high 70s.
Should never have resigned Logan McDonald. He needs a big pre season and to harden up. Hayden McLean is mostly a liability. A one trick pony and as slow as a wet week. Always thought Amartey could be trialed in defense as an interceptor. It was perplexing that Joel Hamling never got a run up forward when kicking goals every week in the seconds. Horse has to get over playing his favourites week in week out when they’re not performing. Too easy to get a game at Sydney if you’re a coaches favourite, which was exposed once again in the GF …
Agree being a Port man,am fascinated who [type] of player they will go for with pick 16..Marshall Georgiades Finlayson Lukious Lord as tall forwards..Sweet Soldo and Dante Vinsentini as Rucks and Aliir BZT and Ratogulea as talls down back..Jacob moss Xavier walsh other tallish players on the list, midfield is young ..Tom Anastopolous and Lachie Charleson small forwards yet to debut,Joe Richards....
Sydney DO NOT have a very balanced list. They desperately need a big bodied inside 190cm mid, an aggressive key forward and a big, tough key defender. No more small flankers!

Fantastic assessment, Hanaford or Allen I would be happy with so long as we are not trading next years picks out. 💙💛🦅🏆

FOS's manager was quoted on SEN that he loves Perth.......... man that kicks me in the nuts....
As a Sydney fan we do need a key forward so agree on that with our first pick

If Jagga is there, we will 1000% take him because something we lack is speed in our midfield and he would solve that problem
Spot on with Smillie and Langford for the Saints. Though there is a strong connection with Richmond to take Smillie with pick 6.
