Hi great video thank you I do think that we all could save so much money if we just stick to the basics a good mineral sunscreen for the day and at night A good basic moisturizer with Ceramides and niacinamide with hyaluronic acid that's really all you need and also of course your Retin-A.
Hi from a 31yr old skincare nerd who just found this channel! I really appreciated the thorough breakdown of your routine.I am curious to hear your preference between Cerave and the LRP Toleriane cleansers! I'm almost through a bottle of the Toleriane, and I love the texture and the ingredients are awesome (I like that it has niacinamide, even though cleansers are the category I'm okay with basic ingredients), but when my face is irritated it will sting a bit and sometimes my face will feel tight after cleansing (thanks tretinoin!). I'm going to try the Cerave next. I love my curology mix as well, mine is also .04 and my face never gets red or irritated, although sometimes I will get little peelies around my mouth and chin. Just started on ugly-tube-tret .05% and OUCH, round 2 of purging here I go. ETA: I would appreciate your (or anyone reading this!) moisturizer reccs -- I have dry and sensitive skin, only prone to hormonal acne but the cysts have left me with some PIE/scarring I'm trying to deal with
I think the Toleriane is not as gentle as Cerave, so you should give that a try! Also, for best moisturizers for when i am super dry and sensitive - i can always count on First Aid Beauty ultra repair cream or any moisturizer designed for eczema!
So would you say the curology Tretinoin works better for you than the standard generic tube? I’m making the switch from the .05 cream to .06 in curology
Hi Joanna! The Aqua Bomb formula hasn't change, however, recent clinical tests revealed that Aqua Bomb can actually increase hydration levels by up to 70%! 💖💖
Great video as always. Toleriane stings my eyes. CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser does not. Toleriane feels luxurious and has a faint coco butter sent. It's my impression that CeraVe is slightly more gentle though. I switch back and forth for excitement. I love Curology. My PM order after double cleansing and a shaving is: 1) Hada Labo Premium, 2) Curology, 3) GOW serums mixed with Hada Labo Gokujyun Hyaluronic Perfect gel, and then a thick layer of CeraVe Moisture Cream to seal the deal. I asked and my Curology nurse practitioner told me tretinoin before or after moisturizer makes no difference. Dr Dray puts her tretinoin after moisturizing as a last step as well.
13:09: Pretty sure Sam had something important to add. 😼 Interested in hearing more about the Nuface. Aaand, totally with you on the spatulas! First thing I do before I wash my face is wash my hands. And I'm just not one to go overboard on trying to slay every single potential germ in the world 🙄 (And apologies on the emoticons; I've just learned how to use them on youtube and am having fun trying them out.)
I have started to do it before bed while listening to an audio book. Lying down iin bed pretending someone is giving me a facial hehe. It is quite relaxing! Esp since you don’t have to rinse off afterward if you do it w a moisturizer.
watched a 4 minute ad (didnt skip it)promoting inclusivity in beauty before the start of your vid :) supporting the great content on your channel!
Awesome!!! What company was it for?? Haven’t seen it yet
An ad for Black Radiance with clips from social media influencers discussing the meaning all shades of beauty being represented in mainstream beauty.
Keep your face damp when putting your products on! it promotes better absorption
Where did you get the container that you have your miscellar water in?

Jo saying “so that’s it for my skin care” but always pulling something else out 😂😂😆. As always, your skin is flawless 😘.
Haha it is pretty short though! Not a crazy 12 step routine!
I really like the cotton pad you use!!! Mine is too small from Costco..where do you the pad??? Thank you for your nice video again!!!😁😃😉
Daiso! A Japanese dollar store in a few states. I think they stopped carrying this kind of pad though. You can get shiseido ones from sephora

Ah great! Thanks for the info!

You are right! I did notice a little stinging when using the LRP! It’s a little foamy vs the cerave!
Do you still like rose hip seed oil? I want to try it but worried about breakouts. Also would you still recommend niacinamide from the ordinary?
Hey, Jo! Have you been washing off the Neogen gauze peel after exfoliating with it? I hear that it's more effective that way :)
Yes! Should rinse off. I forgot to mention that on my audio. A quick rinse is good.

Lol Sam always has too much to say. I agree with you. Germ freaks just get sick more often. Better to have a strong immune system 💪 haha
Exactly! :) xo
You have great skin!!! I am so jealous!!
I keep debating purchasing NuFace.

Great video. I do use hemp or rosehip oil. I wonder if I can use the Nuface with it 🤔
Try it on your arm but I did read ppl using coconut oil etc as well!
I reed the conductor gel must be WATER based not oil based for the device to work 😊
