Definitely practice for your hunt. Practice with the exact rifle from those improvised positions you might have to use. I don't have a fancy tripod, so when I saw that stump I was like, "Yeah, that's my boy!" Stumps, rocks, very low tree limbs, and logs are my friends. I am not above dragging a log to a good vantage spot.
It's an interesting comparison, but it looks like the exact same course and shooting position. So naturally he's going to correct all of his mistakes each stage which I think is the point but one big difference is acquiring the targets, the two second stages he already knows where they are and probably remembers his dope and corrections which may hinder his ability for first round impacts in the field. Just goes to show the importance of regular practice.
Is the hinge on your hnt26 reversible so that it folds to the bolt side even if i have to leave the bolt open? Could i flip it myself at home if i wanted too?

The way it is designed, you will not be able to flip it for it to fold on the other side
