I used to feel sorry for them. Now I don't. Just because people bully them for being DS, doesn't give them the right to treat other people bad. People feel like LS people deserves to be humbled because, people find us attractive. It's very bizarre.

Yes omg ! I no longer have sympathy for women who wouldn’t have sympathy for me. We can’t all be lying. Also, notice how when WE tell our stories we have actual examples and meanwhile when a lot of other women tell their stories of us bullying them it tends to be just based on assumptions? Like assuming we think we’re better etc ?

They are the ones doing all of the bullying they act like the victims but it is them I don’t believe the stories they tell. They made up a fake story about being fetishised by all groups of men they think people are so attracted and in awe of them that people are fetishising them and obsessing over them but the truth is they are the last and least chosen. Some days they’ll be ranting about being last picked and bottom of the barrel but other days they’ll be telling their fantasy stories that they are fetishised it is a made up story that they want to be true.

😂 Yet another relatable story time! I do not believe in “being the bigger person” when bullied for that long. If you have the nerve to harass me for that long, then come get this smoke sweetheart! You, yo mama, your face, and your family are ALL fair game. 😈

Back in the day, the grandmothers and older women in the neighborhood would tell pretty girls, “You’re too pretty to be actin’ like that!”, which created a warped idea of what you should tolerate.

I nearly chocked on my laughter when you said "Even when my hair looks like a bush." I felt that cuz i've been there before.😂 I remember i spent some time with a friend at her housewe were on the bed doing homework and she was just staring at me and then she said "I wish if i had your skin tone, what if we have the same father lol." I just stared and smiled uncomfortably because i had no idea why she would bring that up because one, we have different parents that's why i look the way i am, it's just weird for her to say what if we both have the same father, it doesn't make any sense and two, she's pretty already. It angers me at times at how much they don't see their own beauty and love it.

    • @ExoticalsUnited

Right. Other people get mad when you think you’re cute because THEY think THEYRE ugly. so they get mad when they come across women who don’t have the same inferiority complex

5:49 I blocked a 300+ “friend”. And would obsess over the tiniest things because she was insecure, but didn’t wanna actually work on what was making her insecure. So she also pointed out all of my flaws. I wear a size small , and I put effort and money into my looks. I don’t freak out over tiny flaws because I feel beautiful and confident

Wow, this is very informative. I am a brown skinned black woman who has a light skin biracial child. I was aware that some people are haters towards lighter skin but I didn't know that it could be in some of the ways that you mentioned. Colorism in all ways is quite pathetic and that's a damn shame that that mess happened to you in" the church"can't say that I'm surprised. Anyway I support your channel, thanks for the information. Stay up 🤎

You know what I find funny is , there is actually no need for jealously. If there is something that a person what to change they are able to.😂 there are some much resources out here to do so !
For me as unambiguous lightskin monoracial black girl . Even though I was bullied by darkskin girls through my teens years for not being the standard lightskin girl like a Beyoncé because I had Afrocentric features which did actually hinder my life for a long period of time.
But I still was not jealous or envious of other lightskin black woman or mixed race woman . Because they were getting privileges over me by the same darkskin girls that bully me. I kind of found it pointless to be envy of people that was born the way they are. I just had to change and that’s okay
Skin lightening was my last option, so when I did lighten from 390 shade to 355 because I took this as form of self love so I’m able to start privilege stacking.
Because I was light just not light enough. I know that my sound weird to people to skin lightening as lightskin person but I never wanted to turned into the person that became bitter because I was denied certain privileges growing because of the way I looked. (Because often times being bullied can cause people to start conflicting pain on to others . And I refuse to become that person. So I turned the negative comments to a positive one and started to elevate my looks because now I have this werid thought that they wanted me to be better than them and elevate because to bully me to that extent was actually so stupid because they will never know that I lighten my skin because of them 😂😂
Not saying people need to skin lightening in order to achieve privilege but in enhancing your looks in your 20’s can help you over health and mental health.
So I do everything in my power to become the best version so I can live a full and healthy life. ❤just wanted to add me skin lightening helps me combat featurism in my own way 💕

And it’s your body so I see nothing wrong with that at all. You took ownership over your own life and phenotype . I am getting my boobs done this year (making them smaller because I’m tired of having big boobs even though I’m an hourglass.) instead of being jealous of women with smaller boobs who could wear cute strapless tops I decided to purchase the feature I wanted - and who gon check me? 😜

    • @ExoticalsUnited
      @ExoticalsUnited  5 місяців тому +4

I just read the rest of your comment. And yup- it’s YOUR skin and body so who cares? People love calling out when something is “fake” but that doesn’t take away the privilege you receive in society overall 😂 for example, me making fun of White girls isn’t going to destroy white privilege. It’s just going to make me look like a hater and make me more insecure. And yes, YOU GET TO DECIDE which privileges are important to you. For some people it is being as bright as possible, for others it’s staying tan, and for me it’s having smaller boobs 😂 I WANT THE PRIVILEGE OF BEING ABLE TO WEAR WHATEVER SHIRT I WANT ! my family members have tried to say things like “you’re beautiful as you are.” Yes… I know, however I ALSO want the privilege of small boobs IN ADDITION to my beauty. And then people always try to say “what if it looks bad or it’s not what you thought?” That’s easy. I just go back to how I was and get a fat transfer, implants etc but I’m sure I won’t have to .

exactly❤️. Taking ownership is how I started to improve my life. And there is thing called small boobs privilege❤️😊. You can definitely get away with wearing more outfits.

Girl the stories i have about my exs mom. She was a UA DSW & me being an alsw plus being Dominican brought a different demon out in her. She said her own nieces son was “color struck” at two years old because he would play with me and not her. As if toddlers have any consciousness about colorism. These UA DSBW live with internalized inferiority complex to the max.
