You have my sympathy. I get the same symptoms from tree pollen. It's like a heavy cold, orrible. I also get all itchy, too. I take Allevia now to hold it back. Other brands of antihistamines are avaliable.

My mother lived in France for a short time it got to 42C and all I wanted to do was lie in the pool all day
I thought I was having a hay fever reaction but out of caution I tested for 'rona Cooties and yep. After 4 years of dodging that 'bullet' I tested positive on 2 tests. Day 4 now and already feeling much better. Glad I'm fully vaxxed and boosted because I think that kept it relatively mild for me.
