Eli and James had always shared a close bond, but tonight, the tension between them felt different. At the Halloween party, amidst laughter and whispered dares, they found themselves in an impromptu game that had everyone watching. The dim lights cast soft shadows across their faces as they locked eyes, both knowing what was about to happen. Their friends cheered them on, but for Eli and James, the moment was electric with something unspoken. Slowly, they leaned toward each other, the scent of cologne mixing with excitement as their hands steadied the rim of the bowl placed teasingly inside James's waistband. As Eli lowered his face, the cool water splashed slightly against his cheeks, heightening every sensation. His breath brushed against James's stomach, causing a sharp intake of breath that only Eli noticed. His lips grazed an apple as he struggled to keep his focus, but all he could feel was James’s presence, so close, so inviting. Finally, Eli caught the apple with his teeth, but before pulling away, their eyes met again, and a soft grin spread across James's face. The room may have been filled with laughter and teasing remarks, but for the two boys, time seemed to pause in the shared intensity of the moment. When Eli finally pulled back, the apple dropped to the floor, but it didn’t matter. They were both left breathless, feeling the charge between them that no one else seemed to notice. A spark had ignited in the most unexpected of games, and they knew that this night would change things. Without a word, James’s fingers lingered a little longer at Eli's side, a silent promise of what was to come.
4:28 Not only was this shit in the manga....it is probably the most faithfully adapted episode of the entire manga so far when it comes to the anime. Every single scene is basically panel for panel.

16:28 Shunsui's Zanpakutō's Shikai brings children's games to life. The Zanpakutō makes the rules, and anyone who steps within the boundaries of its spiritual pressure are forced to play by those rules, including Shunsui himself. The color game he used against Starrk involved participants declaring a color on their body or clothing; attacks targeting that color become stronger, but the same color on the attacker’s body became more vulnerable. And the shadow game is where Shunsui manipulates the shadows to attack his opponent, making anyone within a shadow a target.
4:20 mayuri puncturing ashisogi like that was disturbing! 6:51 the revelation of perninda was a great plot twist 👌 9:45 camera angles are awesome 👌 10:49 mayuri launching a human ring and blasting it is uzumaki level DISTURBING and could possibly have been mahito inspiration for transfiguration
My favorite fight in this lsst bit of the manga! The facial animations are on point! Also, the altered Bankai is what he and Nemu were working on at the very end of cour 1.
Yeah he never loses, even if people think he lost against uryu, he didn't ! Mayuri won, he escaped and uryu was about to die, he just survived because of nemu, he won easily against szayel aporo and now the hand of the king. Mayuri is the goat !
The only scenes that were added were he used some more umbrellas, threw one extra human bomb, and her ran a little bit more. Overall, it was very similar to the manga
Edited: please don't spoil anything I'm not a manga reader. Idk if I'm seeing it wrong or not but pretty sure Uryu shot a hole through Renji😂😂😂but sure ain't no way he died like that right 😅😅
Yeah, fight is new, not in manga, also, we will probably be getting variations on these fights, so honestly I doubt manga readers can accurately spoil you the definite path of the story now. In manga there is a fight before this, and we are jumping seemingly to another fight early, so I think the structure of the arc is going to change drastically.
@@Momonga-s7o renji fought 2 more times in the manga. he definitely did not completely disappear after the mask fight. he was shown on panel multiple times outside of contributing to fights too
Finally someone noticed the soundtrack! No one mentioned it yet. Yes, it's Torn Apart.
Mayuri is batman with joker personality
I had this same thought when I first watched this battle!
Mayuri: Hero, Anti-Hero, Villain, Anti-Villain.

Da Ru Ma San Ga Ko Ron Da 🎶 🥶
This is Kubo's most weirdest fight with his favorite captain lmao
he is also my fav
Shunsui's Zanpakuto ability is turning traditional Japanese children's games into reality
imagine if he was a villain 🎉😂
he is neither😂
11:50 Well, he did turn his subordinates into human bombs during the Soul Society arc. Maybe he's refined the process since then.
Another cool detail: you can see pernida progressing through the fight, at the start it couldn’t even speak and now has complex sentences
it is literally a baby crying when they start😂
and next he can sarcasm haha
This is one of those fights where you feel bad for the villain😂
But you will feel bad for Mayuri in next couple of Ep
I admire Mayuri because hes always infos about his enemies 😂.
Thank this captain is on our side (hopefully) 😂

I am never trusting Mayuri of all peopel to perform a surgery on me
Also we actually get hint of this during Ichibei and Yhwach flashback.
I ain’t fighting mayuri I don’t care if I’m 1000x stronger then him I’m walking the other way
