[Plot Introduction/ synopsis]
The play tells the story of the princess Wang Xuan (played by Zhang Ziyi) who has a first love, the third prince Zitan (played by Tony Yang). Wang Xuan was involved in the court battle because of the prophecy of "getting her, getting the world." She became her father's chess piece and married Lord Yuzhang, Xiao Qi (played by Zhou Yiwei), from a humble background. Soon, Prince Helan (played by Yuan Hong) kidnapped Wang Xuan to seek revenge on Xiao Qi. The couple fell in love with each other because of a blessing in disguise. In the end, the couple joined hands to create a new era and guard their homeland's people.

@@coffee7226 Its ok for me, this is not my first time watching a drama and movie with middle aged actors portraying a character as teen, hollywood does this a lot. I can overlook it as long as they can act well. They are veteran actors so i enjoyed the drama specially the chemistry of the main leads, plus this is movie quality drama which is awesome!

其實我覺得他皮膚緊緻度挺好的，當然不可能跟十幾年前比，但是出演這個角色還沒有到很違和，只是眼睛周圍比較顯老，而且臉瘦女人本來就是這方面比較吃虧，會看起來比一般人少一些青春氣息，但我還是覺得她演得挺靈動的，而且就是要這麼天真可愛才能顯得後面的成長跟小時候有多大落差。
Yvaine H可能是她之前的作品给我印象太深刻了吧，有一部叫艺伎回忆录，特别特别美又少女，现在是真的很明显的落差，眼神是最明显的，她演的是蛮灵动的，但是看眼神就会出戏，能看出她真的在表情管理肢体上真的很努力也放了很多演技在里面，但是落差感会让我看起来不适，后面变故后是演的越来越有感觉的
我也覺得眼神比較出戲，眼妝需要再更適合她的點
這郡主人設的可愛她表現不出，她藏不住犀利帶刺的眼神，倒是傲慢任性不耐煩的眼神滿溢出螢幕了

其实看剧的我们真的不必对演员太过苛刻，整体感觉还是非常不错的！
原著帝王业是我非常喜欢的一部作品，整部小说荡气回肠、豪气冲天，它描述的不是一般的儿女情长，是巾帼与英雄的惺惺相惜，是家国天下的霸气豪情。演员表都是老戏骨，虽然章子怡演16岁的阿妩稍显老气，好在卓越的演技能够弥补不足，加之年少时光不长，瑕不掩瑜几可忽略。周一围是块璞玉，一直期待他的作品，希望在这部戏里能够展现他多年浸淫的功力。

这才是制作精良的好剧，每个演员都对角色精心揣摩，融入自身很多，磨炼演技。那些走流量的年轻演员一年十几部剧，制式化，只是来回换服装换发型而已，也不能全怪他们，毕竟签了合同就身不由己，导演让你左嘴角上扬，你就不能再发挥别的。一个月完成三四十集的戏哪有时间揣摩角色？只有到了章子怡这种程度想法才会受到导演尊重，可以随心所欲地演

這部戲劇不論是演員還有美術、道具，以及呈現的高規格畫質！讓我十分期待接下來的集數！希望看到最後會一直保持這樣的水準！
上元灯节这一段戏让我想起了大明宫词，周迅演的太平公主那么娇俏灵动，和薛绍相遇的那段戏太美了
