I admit my first shock in moving here was the tiny refrigerators! Compared to those in the US! I was so used to shopping for about a week at a time, and here it is about every three days at the Kronan and once a week at the Costco!! I will say that the quality of the food here is outstanding compared to the US! You really do have to buy your bread every few days as the lack of preservatives makes it so much more tasty, and shorter home shelf life!
Sis, please do more vlog. I know that's not really the purpose of your channel but can add value to hour channel if we see how you as a regular person lives in Iceland

Coming from milder, neighbouring Ireland, where the weather can be rough too (not as rough as Iceland admittedly), we thought we were prepared for the dry skin during the colder months in Iceland. We learned the hard way during our first trip so we came prepared the next time round.

I would have thought it was very difficult (and certainly expensive) to be one in Iceland. I wouldn't have guessed there is a vegan store there. Wow!

I'm asking cause I know one country that don't allow you to bring more than one kid to live there! We plan on moving out there once I find me a work from home job. That Hlemmur mathöll is the bomb! Especially Skal, where I ate two excellent meals in August. It’s a little noisy in there and can get crowded but the food is super!
