11 Spirals, 6 small petals and 3 large petals is what you will need, so all together, you will need 20 'thumb' width pieces, which is about 5 toilet paper rolls or 2 paper towel rolls. :)
Thanks for your feedback. I will try and make a slower version next time. I just figured people dont like long videos so I try to make them short. It takes about 20-30 mins in real time.
I love this project but what did you use for the background or backing paper? Or is it poster board? What's the best type of material for this project?
@@ChelseaMayo oh ok, thank you for clarifying. My vision is not as sharp as it use to be lol. All that aside, I enjoyed the video very much and I thought your pace of explaining and demonstrating were perfect!!
Monica Gregory thank you! Will you be making one? I have another video of an owl made from paper towel rolls that you can check out as well :-) DIY Recycled toilet Paper Roll & Cereal Box Owl Wall Art ua-cam.com/video/UlW7gAa5sjw/v-deo.html
Beautiful piece of work, it’s amazing how beautiful empty paper rolls can become. I enjoyed watching your video, just one comment, certain steps were filmed a bit too fast. Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful idea.
Love your ideas... Can you do a semi colon? I belong to a support group The semi colon project...it's an American mental health nonprofit.....in the prevention of suicide....meaning "our story never ends"..... I'd really love to make one for a family member as a support reminder. Thank you
hi can i also see the other designs you made please? i am doing now the other design you made.. from your video making butterfly.. please can i watch your first design and second one please.. thank you
the piece is very nice, but isn't much of a tutorial. how many rolls did you use total? how many pieces did you cut? the video was fast forwarded so fast, it was hard to keep up with how many pieces for each part....... nice work though.
Please, please, please slow it down and explain what you're doing. You never say how many of each piece or how to place them around. I had to continuously stop, rewind and try to find a place to pause the video where I could actually see around your hands to try to figure out how to make the outer pieces, how many to make, where to place them. I've seen other videos you've made and they were so much better. This is so complex and you basically fast forward thru all the information we need.
Thanks for your comment. I have slower steps to show you then sped up repetitive parts. The whole process took about 30mins which would be too long of a video

lipnow812 I never thought of making a semi colon but I love the idea of helping a good cause. What did you have in mind?
Muy lindo.

Obrigado :-)
Sus manualidades me gustan pero no las veo bien siempre esta oscuro . Porque?
hi can i also see the other designs you made please? i am doing now the other design you made.. from your video making butterfly.. please
can i watch your first design and second one please.. thank you
süperrr
I always wonder why the entire roll isn't spray painted before and then cut when dried. Any particular reason?
Thats a great idea but then where you cut it and the interior won't be painted so you will have to paint it again.
did you make a butterfly of this material? I can got the video, very interested, thank you
Yes. I made a butterfly with the same materials. The link is in the description box right below this video. Good luck! :-)
How wide is you pieces, please list on description box
they are about 1 CM but it doesnt really matter what size you cut them, just make sure they are all about the same size :)
Beleza gostei bastante, bjusss
I have a question: Can u use just regular white glue instead of the glue gun cause I don't have one?
You can try. You would probably need paper clips to hold the prices together as they dry though. It dries much slower than hot glue.
Thank you, I'll try it right away :)
I use clothes pins to hold to dry.

muy bonito pero como esta en cámara rápida no veo bien como armarla grasias por sus creasione
gosto muito
nice video, but it was moving so fast I couldnt keep up, had to keep stoping and going back especially with the centre piece.
Seu trabalho é maravilhoso, mas porque não a tradução em português 😵
LA FLOR ES LINDA, PERO MUY MAL EXPLICADO. MUY RAPIDO.
Very beautiful but demonstration to fast
Lindo 💗 mas cadê a tradução 😶
Bellissimo. Troppo velocizzato

a m e i...
Beautiful!
But the fast forwarding is annoying.
Troppo veloce video, fatto veramente male
This is a ridiculous tutorial how can u teach on fast speed
