Literally found you about 3-4 weeks ago after watching Cleetus via a YT recommendation. Glad I did. You have some skills girl. Your attitude towards life and love on and off the track is really refreshing. You're open, honest, call the tracks and highs & lows out honestly. As An Aussie grandfather. It's very refreshing to see someone so level headed living in the present. You have a genuine fan here. I'll be rooting for you for a long time to come. =D

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE hearing your commentary Hailie while driving... Seriously! not a lie... I wished I could think about my driving more like that.. that more analytical aspect. I know I was never properly trained or anything, never been coached in my life.. I rely 10000000% on my instincts when driving. I wish i was able to put my thoughts more into words like your able to. I mean i'm no pro driver, or even amateur.. i'm a nobody online gaming racer... I've never been much of a hot lap racer, my excitement n joy comes from the mind chess match that takes place, about recognizing your opponent might be going in a bit hard into a tight turn n brake late.. n i like to brake early turn in early n fast out. n u have that constant battle back n forth until ur able to break away from the pack.
I Love your content so much Hailie. And shoutout to Cleetus to having u @ the freedom factory, because i honestly probably woulda never heard of you otherwise. I always like seeing female drivers show up, and u blew me away with your driving @ that, and got urself a big fan. Been watching all ur vids since! Love seeing a personality like yours in the racing community!

Hailie, totally agree with you about the nose situation. Same with me. What I found is put some hydrocortisone anti-itch cream on your nose before you put your helmet on. It works. Good luck.
I’ve been here for both MotoGP and F1. Such a great track. First class facility. Good visibility from most of the grandstands.

@@ZachMan99 20th is not a big L. What world are you in? She got turned for no reason and still finishes. She never went below 22nd from what I saw (maybe she did but not for long), and raced pretty well. Stop being a hater and face the freaking reality that she does not suck.

That’s a smart girl right there. As a truck driver I was always looking for a safe way out. It’s saved my life and others more than once. I had to run my rig half off the road and back on one day, and only because I’d been looking for a way out did it work. Keep on keeping on Hailie

Lets talk about "itchy nose syndrome" when driving/riding fast with a full-face helmet on! Hailie... many of us suffer from this, its really annoying. If yours is like mine, its mostly at the tip of the nose; where it feels you need to pinch your nose and give it a good rubbing. What helps me to cure this is plucking out all my nose hairs especially at the upper tip of each nostril. I think putting a small amount of vaseline just to keep any remaining fine hairs from dancing around because of the vibrations helps a bit too. Eliminating these little distractions is really important. Best of luck for continued success !!
I think you gain an advantage on the road course from your other racing experiences so far compared to some of the other drivers.

A champion she is. I love the wonder of learning. She will win I can't wait for the road course. I like to take corner 1 and last corner and learn them wile riding others of learning but a past that is a riding. Then go 2 too second to last ride through others until I learn the corners at a hard past not at once cause of tires so pick 2 at a time go from there untill you can make a hard fast lap.
Basically I find the brake point to the role point to exit throttle point gear work better in what Corners to how braking effect them by presser to throttle input
To lines in corner usually 4 passes each corner of it all to put on good lap but what sucks 2 hours is not along time to find all that but Hailey is smart fast and my 1 driver I no she wants to finish the race and I bet she does awesome job. But that's how I learn new road courses exspacally Nuremburg 15.3 mile track took along time to learn.
I heard y'all testing out there I live about a mile and half from the track
Can't stand COTA on iRacing and it's only a sim. So many better road courses, trucks at Sonoma.
In car commentary was top notch and very entertaining.

You do know that Dale Earnhardt Sr. broke the track record at Watking Glen in 1996 only 2 weeks after dislocating his sternum and breaking his collarbone at Talladega. He broke that record steering AND shifting mostly with one hand and his knees. He also drove the entire 220 mile race and finished sixth NO EXCUSES!!! :-P
Fun to watch, HOWEVER, the in car, track pointed camera was horribly overexposed, liked her enthusiasm and commentary!

This was a good idea , unlike the Freedom race in a Crown Vic with a stock fuel tank ... I am probably going to catch a NASCAR race this summer and I'll make sure there is a C.W.T.S. there .. Do something about that itchy nose .

I was a crew chief on a SCCA sportsracing team back in the 60s. We were at Laguna raceway. The Winston cup cars (May have Grand National back then).Any way They were practicing and I watch as they would drop a wheel off in corners to learn what the car would do. So Hailie they have been doing that for a long time. It is a good thing to do before you race a track that is new to you.
