Watching your review from Australia and bloody brilliant! Here in Oz we don't get the roof rails which come pretty much standard on every other ute, great for mounting roof-top tents, but do get HID headlights and electric glass sunroof and 7-Year warranty. Those blanked off switches are for the lane keep assist and radar cruise control.
Great review, thank you. I have seen lot's of pick up tests from North America, Australia ans South Africa. And this was the best european and one of the best overall. Great you gave us all the payload and GVM as well as name the automatic brand. Someone mentioned in a different review that there is a automatic locking differential at the rear. Do you know something about it? Greetings from Germany A new subscriber
@maxspooner63 Thanks for answering Max. Do you also know if GWM will bring the Cannon Alpha to europe? They look very interesting and are sold in Australia and South Africa.
@stefanfalldorf6573 I spoke to a senior member of staff from GWM. Currently the only introduction they know of is going to be Xpeng and Haval to the UK market. Not heard of the Cannon Alpha so my assumption is they won't be at this time especially given the change in pick up legislation.
It should be noted if passed you're test after 1996 (about) you can not Tow more than 3500 gross train weight with out a light goods drivers class licence c i think
I've just bought a 3 year old pre facelift Saracen, Absolutely love it. It is actually based on the Rexton. Hence front seats are heated and chilled with Nappa leather and why there are blanks here and there. The tub is much deeper than normal pickups too. If you are not a badge snob you can pick these up at very reasonable prices used as we did. The only negative and you didn't mention is curb weight. Because it's over 2 tons, it's classed as a commercial vehicle which means 50mph on single carriageway and 60pmh on dual. Not a problem for us as we bought it for caravan towing duties.
@clanmac66 what about hybrids and EVs over 2 tonnes? Do they not still qualify as cars despite their weight? I thought this qualifies as a commercial vehicle because of its 1 tonne payload?
13:45 - Why are these changes to the way double-cab pick-up trucks are being taxed being introduced, so they are now classified as cars and are subject to those higher BIK rates?
I’ve owned 3 full of glitches in electrics . Current 2023 model had electrical faults for more than a year and they cannot fix it. Won’t buy another and getting rid of current one.
Those Blank's on Steering Wheel. I don't care Or Want to Know... I Suppose it Could be for Lane Assist. I Don't Have That in my 2023. & Glad i don't... They are a great Vehicle. Elx Xlv. Brilliant... 13:55 Beware Where You Buy Fuel. If You Do Get Bad Fuel, You Are in For A World of Pain... Old Ground Tanks, FORGET IT... $$$$$$$$😢
These things are incredibly under rated, absolute pearla of a ute, very happy with my purchase 🇦🇺
Bit of a hidden secret aren't they?

Glad you enjoyed it, odd we don't have the same specs considering we're both RHD markets. Thanks for clearing the blank buttons up for me too!
Love the musso , great review mate
@MICHAEL-wg2lh thank you much appreciated 👏

@@joshbacon8241 you would have to take up that question with the Chancellor of the Exchequer
Halogen headlights!😮
That would be enough to stop me from buying it.
Come on KGM, come into the 21st century.
I believe there is now a facelift coming with full LEDs
Interesting to see KGM 🇰🇷. Is that Musso - Saracen in TDi 🛻 spec?
If by TDI you mean diesel then yes it is.
@maxspooner63 Great. We gotta stack up finances then
Had one for 3 months only thing I would say is ground clearance everything else ok
It has been noted by other creators that when going off road yes
@ but ok as a farm pickup
Colour combo good.
Yeah I think the green really suits it

Fortunately we have really robust legislation on fuel quality in this country so that won't ever be a problem
I just need a Toyota champ pick up
Not something offered over here but looks cool. I'd like to try one
Well I personally hate it just by looking at it

And there was me thinking you would take a kinder view point 🤣

@@MICHAEL-wg2lh Uh oh, guess what? The KGM Musso is still cheap and ugly. Just buy a used Toyota as an alternative
