So this has been itching at the back of my mind since viewing your northern symbolism 😅
The potomitan (also spelled poteau-mitan, poto mitan, poto-mitan, or pòtòmitan: Haitian Creole: "central pole" - from the French: poteau, "post", and mitan, an archaism for "half") is an essential structural feature of the hounfour (temple) in Haitian vodou. Occupying the central position in the peristyle (sacred space at the centre of the hounfour / oufo), the potomitan takes the form of a decorated wooden post (occasionally a living tree) by means of which, it is believed, the loa descend to earth to inhabit, for a time, the bodies of the faithful through spirit possession.
The conversation about the “net or weave” made me think of the Cherokee creation myth of the water spider
I recently learned that a reflective liquid metal can be rotated at various speeds and this creates a flawless parabolic mirror, one could look at the above via the reflection on the ....mercury 😎

I see Mercury as “the prince of the power of the air”, anti-christ, trickstar.
Re as above so below it makes sense that it is the north star as "halo" as when meditating one of the stated goals is to find the still centre within as the north star it at rest within the spinning. So matter being created as mind moves through the pole?
