  • It’s 4th of July weekend 2023 and my buddy and I did 2 days and 2 nights at the 118 mile Reservation and permit only trip to Shafer Trail/ White Rim Trail inside of Monument Valley National Park in Moab Utah. Temperatures reached up to 109 degrees. The views were so spectacular and the cold AC was blowing inside of our rigs so we only stepped out to take quick pictures and videos. I highly recommend everyone to check out this trail, preferably during the end of summer til the end of fall. You don’t have to have a crazy setup, just a decent maintained rig with high clearance and good tires. The weather conditions could play a huge factor as well. Hard Scrabble Hill section being one of them. It could be pretty scary without a spotter or an experienced lead driver because you’re literally at a 38-40 grade before you hit a hard right turn on a side of a cliff to your left looking down at the valley. Could be muddy or slippery in the winter or rainy months too to plan accordingly. Hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for stopping by
