    Thanks for the nice video. You went counterclockwise on the White Rim loop which is less common and can potentially be a problem if you meet on coming traffic on a technical section. Also you said "...each campground does have a Full bathroom, which is nice". They each have a single shitter. Any guy who sells his wife on the trip with that bad piece of information could have consequences.

    • @TremorTrails
      @TremorTrails  8 місяців тому +1

      Yep, I said that several times in the video. You can travel in either direction. Counter clockwise is my preferred choice 👌. True about the bathroom. A full bathroom in the middle of nowhere to me is 4 walls protected from the elements. If home dude doesn't do research before taking his wife to the middle of nowhere, that's on him :) Thanks for watching!

      Your's and other UA-cam videos are the content that people consume for their research. Before I did the WR the first time I asked about the direction thing. Most people said either direction was good. That is ok for mountain bikes and motorcycles but not advisable for jeeps and trucks because of the danger on the steep technical sections.

    Kind of late to seeing this. On Saturday, got permits for Murphy A and Labyrinth A for early June. This, after canceling 2022 trip where I actually had White Crack and Labyrinth A. Crazy to think that I was 45 minutes late on Saturday, and ALL of the White Crack permits through the month were taken. I should have gone sooner! Awesome video!

    Great video, hope to do the entire trail at some point. I didn’t plan ahead, so just got a day of permit which didn’t allow me to camp. Technically to get the permit you are stating you have a 4x4. I recall a sign once you come down the switch backs that states 4x4 required.

      I think so with SRW. I did the trail in 2015 in my Tacoma, the park ranger who drove the loop for maintenance used a ram powerwagon at the time.

    Don't even need to watch and the answer is yes. Have drove it once before. Next time I'll be biking it. Edit: Funny you mention Potato Bottom as the worst spot. That's where I stayed when I drove it. Wasn't bad at all. It's close to the road, but there is minimal traffic and ZERO traffic at night so that isn't an issue. Views were still great.

Heights and I don't jive, so in a big truck like the Tremor I'd be a bit more nervous. When I had my 4th Gen 4Runner it wasn't as bad as I knew I was narrow. But man it would be fun on a moto!
