Also im curious, im also a guitar player and i learned how to play the intro on a 6 string and im wondering if theres anyway i can tune my guitar down to play that next part if so what tuning would it be ? I plan on buying a 7 or 8 string soon but i just cant wait i want to learn this hole song so bad lol
you should be able to play it without a 8 string. from what i know in this song the 2 lowest strings are a Eb and a Bb (since it's in Eb standard) so if you play the notes of the 8th string on the 6th and transpose the notes of the 7th string to the 5th you should be able to play it
The nylon is 1/2 step down and the 8 string is in drop E so the lowest note is E an octave down. If you had some sort of pitch shifter and shifted your guitar an octave down that'd probably work for some of the song that doesn't use the high strings.
