One clarification! Amtrak lounge can be accessed either on Departure OR Arrival. Not both!!

Thank you for 1st subscription!! Be my 2nd subscriber! 😁😁
Also note, Brightline offers free pickup within 5 miles radius for Premium ticket passengers which can be scheduled through their app.
Another minor difference: when my Amtrak train came to a stop (am I unlucky?), they let us know they were having a 'mechanical' problem, rather than simply announcing we've come to a stop.
I'll be uploading that day's travel soon. Subscribe and stay tuned!

Brightline started in 2018 and it only served the three major cities of South Florida (West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, Miami). It stayed that way for many years until 2023 when the Orlando portion opened. It still mainly serves as a fast way to get between the large cities like Fort Lauderdale and Miami. I took it between those two and it was very easy and probably the best way to go between the two. The issue with taking the train to Orlando is that it terminates at the airport rather than downtown.

Yeah I noticed tons of ppl were getting on and off at prior stops, then it was just a few travelers left onboard once we were at Orlando

@SoloTravelSolTube I think they'd get more service to Orlando if it went downtown rather than the airport. Brightline is continuing plans to expand to Tampa and it announced yesterday that they want to expand to Cape Canaveral.
