Glad they are releasing this.... I already have the Plus and The SP versions, but have held off from buying the RG35XX H, ... Now for certain the RG40XXH will be on my shopping list, the chipset is adequate for me as I mostly play PS1 and 16bit games, so that 4" screen is perfect, with the comfort of good ergonomics...
The handlheld I'd like to see is a fat GB like vertical model with a 4inch screen (basically a fatter 35xx+). In the mreantime, this 40xx H is probably the one I want to get if my 35xx+ dies. I look forward to your review once it gets released.
You're not wrong. Even on pcs, it can be kinda tacky. So yeah man its not for everyone. To me, it's also a gimmick/ battery waster, but the good thing is you can always turn them off.
Stacked shoulders. Nice The screen will most likely be like the one on the RG-ARC which was 4inch 640x480. IMO, the one I had was fine as far as pixel density.
I may pick this up at some point. I'm just waiting a little bit since they just put out the 406v in hopes that they do a 406h. I'm not 100% sure if they will though since it would basically be the RG Cube with a 4x3 screen. I would just get the Cube, but I'm not a fan of any of the colors.
Another great video Javi. Right when I completed my collection all the 35xx, this one shows up. To be honest, I looks amazing. I'm not that convinced though. I would prefer a better chip and than a bigger screen. And yeah, I would be great to play at least some basic ps2 games. The price needs to make sense. This is where if they price it closer to the S2, I would get that one instead. Even at 80 bucks, I would want a device that will allow me to add more x resolution, or add shaders without hiccups. Maybe I'm asking too much. LOL I guess because I'm familiar with this chip already. We'll see. Keeping my fingers crossed. Otherwise, I'm happy with the 35xxh and its portability.
Hey man! Love your videos! Was wondering if you could do a video explaining how to install new stock os update for anbernic on macbooks. Ive been trying to figure it out but theres nothing on the internet. Thanks!
I spent €45 to get my first emulation device, the miyoo mini plus a few months ago, but I'd be so interested in getting this one too. If it's under €70 I can see myself getting one in black :)
HI Javi, i have a question, i saw you used a USB Reader for Card SD, can we do the Flash of our console, with a simple AdaptatOr ? there is no problem ? this question for Javi and everyone want to answer me with real knowledge of the subject thanks you everyone
I recommend watching the original video. Youll hear it immediately. Its on Anbernic channel. Mac does something where the screen recording lowers the media volume for whatevrr reason
2:47 I actually hope we don't get TMNT, Stardew Valley and other ports out of the box. Pirating ROMs is fine, the developer wouldn't get any money if you bought the disk/cartridge/etc from a reseller. Pirating games which are being sold right now is literally taking money from developers.
hrm... I wonder.... If psp emulation will advance enough within mu os to make this really attractive for that. I also wonder if it's gonna have a touch screen for ds games. Would be nice to have something to replace the trimui smart pro as the cheap way to play psp games, imo. switch sticks aside.
Yes absolutely for a few reasons. First 4" 4:3 Display. 4:3 is the best for retro gaming. Second is the dpad. The single worst thing about Powkiddy product is thier dpads. Alot of people dont like them because they lack accuracy. Anbernic is well known for good dpads. Also just quality. Alot of RGB30 owners report quality control issues with their handhelds. Mine sufferes badly from battery leak which means it looses battery while off. Not all of them but some. This is something that isn't an issue for Anbernics product.
Till Anbernic can get the firmware right these new ones don't really matter. I wouldn't keep buying multiple of these devices when you can just buy a good emulation device performance. Hire better developers for Firmware.

when you read this comment anbernick realised a new console
They spilled the tea 😂
I guess it their way of spilling the beans, lol.
This completely went over my head lol till you said something thanks
I'm probably in the minority with this, but RGB thumbsticks instantly make any device look super cheap.

@@JaviPlayRetro even with them off you still have the frosted edge which looks terrible unfortunately
@FabuBrik I think youll be able to make them turn into a specific color so that I think ill do that maybe keep them blue or something.

Looking forward to this device, i can see this one being over a £100
if its over 100 then just get rg cube.... this here is a cheap device and should be a bit more expensive than the rg35xx H (same hardware)

Blue is my favorite. It's beautiful. The black buttons, joysticks, bumpers and triggers make for a great contrast.

Hey anbernic, trimui made their handheld a while back.
Anberni: hold my 🍻
Suppose the price is marked down to 70 or 80 bucks. I'll happily buy it over the 405m.
You think the Pokémon games will play and look good here or should I go with the gba model? Like the other video you had with Pokémon green
i wanted to buy my first retro handheld, i was hesitating between trimui smart pro and rh35xx-h but i guess i should wait for this one ?
Praying for a good d-pad with a proper rocker

@@SylvainRajaomitraha you can use any micro sd card adapter. Either usb or micro sd to standard size sd if your pc supports it
trimui smart pro vs rg40xxh ??
I put on noise-cancelling earphones and I still couldn't hear the clickiness in your vid.

They sell devices with cracked emulators, so I'd expect them to do that kind of thing.
if they price is max 80 this will sell good
Did they hint a release date? I thought the SP with MuOS was the best thing since sliced bread. A larger screen is a big yes in my book.
SP is the best thing since sliced bread for me but this is great too for everyone. No release date yet but Ill keep you posted
@@JaviPlayRetro me too, is it better then RG35xx H? Now that's the best one on til something better
Sachi Bimbs. This is a more powerful TrimUI Smart Pro
Seems much smaller than the trimui smart pro
blue is my fav colour but that blue doesn't look like a good pick for me I think I'm gonna get the black or grey
if its under 100 dollars I may get it

So with this form factor will it beat the RGB 30 in popularity?

Design looks fine but with such a weak CPU and given all the other handhelds they have available seems like a slightly pointless release
CPU strength is relative to the price.
Saki bombs
Something is screaming dodgy pretend joysticks thats why they not using them or if do it's for a couple of seconds 😂
