It makes me sad how much the beauty standards translate into success and/or opportunities. Not everyone can be 6'. And to me, a bone thin person is usually not a healthy one.
So true bro and I find it interesting how Korea has a lot of Colourism and lookism I feel like the bar has been raised more since the popularization of k pop and k media in the west that these ideals are gonna be more detrimental in the long run. Those are just my half baked thoughts
Im a tall woman, 5'9", and have no problem dating shorter men. I think you are very attractive. Ive always found Asian men attractive. All that plastic surgery just makes the guys look the same and boring. Don't be too hard on yourself. You're handsome 😊.
I have seen girls flex a tall guy that looks like he belongs in the Gang Green Gang while overlooking very handsome short guys & dissing them. Girl UR BOYFRIEND LOOKS LIKE A TALL CORPSE U CANT MAKE FUN OF ANYONE 😂 it’s so frustrating like height does NOT equal visual attractiveness
Nice one. Would be great if you can also discuss about why Korean men on IG shave their armpits. Is it aesthetic or hygiene? Thanks Brute. Stay handsome 😘
Korean men have unrealistic idealism too. One Korean guy who is in his mid 40s wanted to date a tall, slim, sexy woman in her 20s. He is still single and I feel sorry for him.
As a Korean living here that kind of man is of very few to the whole male population. Most are either married or want to keep living alone unless they're pedophilic. What kind of right-minded person do you think would even dare to marry someone 20 years behind him?
You can see that male K-pop idols/ K-drama stars are tall and thin on screen and being photographed/ recorded usually puts a few pounds on, so I was thinking that they must actually be very skinny, almost look malnourished in real life/ if you saw them in person. From a western perspective, they'll probably look ill in real life rather than fit &healthy and we'd want them to eat more!
To me , Koreans look naturally beautiful. They’re also clever and creative! Very sad that young men and women have put so much pressure on themselves to look like somebody else, not themselves.. Look quite fake actually. That’s also unhealthy!
What about facial hair. It’s shocking to see actors nearing 40 and have no stubble at all. Even though folks get laser won’t they be concerned they won’t get hair if they want it in the future. That is surprising for me !
You look very small about 5'4 I'm 5'5 but I'm old gen I'm 62 from Vietnam war torn country and hot climate people don't eat lot to help grow taller and bigger too.
You can talk about their beauty standard but you can never change it Because historically that has always been the beauty standard of Asian guy/girl in Asia.

just remember. The beauty standards is whatever you cannot achieve. They wanna sell you products to have the false sense of ever achieving it

South Korea also requires a headshot photo along with resume when applying for jobs. Competitive environment
To be fair in Europe we also attach a photo.

😊.
I'm 5'9 and I want men to be hard on themselves, because they pressure women into it. They should look desirable for women
I like this video and information, keeping it real and discussing the issues surrounding image and confidence.
the body standard that fits both is skipping leg day
Lmfao

Wow, I cant believe people made those comments about height to you that's awful
Where do u get your black earrings from? Thanks
How tall are you?
Why do they put so much effort on the looks instead of the size ? We all know a real orgasm has nothing to do with look but size !

Man this society is very toxic
People who say you aren’t good enough because you aren’t pretty aren’t worth jack shit and sure are blind
You can talk about their beauty standard but you can never change it
