more than a year later, the gameplay and visual has improved a lot. the fight itself is harder than before but still quite fun to learn. great bossfight 10/10

Differences between the way you and i fight mutant i noticed:
1 - i aggressively graze the attacks i know i won't get hit by(the phase 1 circle of eye projectiles, end of the skeletron head attack, slime rain attack)
2 - you are plain better at dodging twinmerang+clorophyte cristals attack
3 - i don't stop during the predictive dash attack changing direction when he dashes, instead of stopping and then starting to move like you do
4 - i dodge the EoC attack by going downwards as much as possible and just putting myself into the gap between 2 scythes(so dodging horizontally), then returning to the centre, instead of staying in the centre for as long as possible and going to the side and dodging vertically
5 - you make bigger gaps in on the destroyer attack(skill issue on my part)
6 - i'm better at dodging the mini true eye of cthulhu laser(hard to tell how, but i'm pretty good at predicting how it'll go)
7 - you move faster during the continuous dashing
8 - i just in general move vertically more than you
9 - i don't use gimmicky movement(fireball dash, teleports, maybe you used something else)(skill issue on my part)
10 - this point and everything past it is about desperation phase. I move away from the very dense bullets at the start
11 - i'm more afraid of the beam

I can dodge everything, except attack, where he shoots lasers, while summoning Destroyers

i had to no hit this in order to get the penetrator, it was hell but i finally did it around a week ago!
(you actually have to just not trigger i frames at all making it harder, that includes dashes dodges etc rod of discord wont trigger i frames, i recommend using exo chair if you play with calamity)
heres how i did it:
exo chair mount (calamity)
slime rain weapon
soul of the master
flight mastery soul
berserker soul
true mutant armor
elemental gauntlet
supersonic soul
i forgot the rest sorry

​@@Terratomere By the fight with Abomination i have pretty much every material needed for Soul of Eternity except abomination and eternity energy to craft the rest. And it don't like i grinded too much, just collected every material on the way

im with tank build 44%dmg r. and 490 armor and he still hits for 100+

his debuffs (mutant fang and presence) shred defenses (Def, DR, regen), so tanking isn't really possible with pre-mutant gear

I go for a tank build usually but seeing this for once I went more offensive because the debuffs do make a tank build impossible to achieve

That seems easy, since i enjoy hell i will install calamity and fight supreme calamitas and enraged mutant at the same time on legendary mode seed + eternity + death mode with one inventory slot and one hp.
