I figured it out! If you want to survive the final part with the giant laser you need to do two things. survive until he reaches the final phase where he wont move from his current spot anymore. And then instantly teleport away to a spot around two screen wide in the distance from where he's currntly abusing you, for example by using a magic mirror/PDA,(You can use a life revitalizer instead of a bed to skip the need for building a house.) and then just stay there for example using a hook. If you teleport to this spot, The Huge A$$ beam, while stil visually hitting you, wouldn't cause any damage to you because it would be outside muants hitbox but still close enough so that he won't despawn.

What a cruel joke Masochist Mode mutant is. I think it should be called Sadistic mode due to how much pain it gives which makes sense its supposed to be less fair version of game and you have to overcome against all odds

@@FakeHaben Hey sorry but I'm a bit new to this, how do I freeze? In the controls I found a timeatop control button but I cant activate it before or after.
@@FakeHaben I set up my key and was able to use it outside of the boss fight, the whole fight I relatively don't have much trouble but when it comes to the final phase where the boss attacks and draining the hp, I can only slow down time, and when caught with the timestop, I can't use the key at all. Edit: Looking at my buff/debuff section it say, Time Stop Cool down, you cannot stop time yet with no countdown the entire phase.
@@FakeHaben The mod was updated rather recently. The change prevents you from using timestop during the Mutant's desperation attacks. This probably means you were so good at this that the Mutant changed the rules.

you use your own freeze to counter the boss’ freeze!
