Yeh it was out of the blue he’s been fine before hand, but it happened and needed fixing and that’s what I’ve worked on since.. his pedigree is phenomenal so I have to take my time with him
I think that stop and recall in every single sinerio is a must it may stop a fight with another wayward dog that runs in or save the the dogs life if it's not seen danger 👍👍👍
Great stuff mate, my cocker is a family pet, we are an active lot, but i have considered just doing some gun dog stuff with her, as i know that's what there are bred for.
I genuinely think anything working line whether pet or working you should learn some gundog games it really stimulates the dog and any gundog obedience will give you a very steady pet

Yeh agree also a road or anything that could cause harm to your dog
