It not surprising that you playing this game on sega genesis but you really excell in dungeons or rpg type games. You build a time machine and went all the way back in the late 80s to find this game. Excellent find and Im sure you will like this game.
I wish I did have the Amiga version however I will take the Sega Genesis version. It is a almost perfect port despite some issues it came with it. I do have games older than the late 80's (Ultima 0, 1,2 and 3 come to mind). Thanks and will have more classics I can dig up in the future.
Awesome gameplay sega genesis was a very good console and it inspired all companies to enhance the graphics and they used to be rivals with Nintendo now times have changed they haven’t made a console since dream cast

Played this A LOT when it came out. Spent a lot of hours exploring, grinding, not knowing anything because it was 1988 and not a lot was available back then. I went into a cave (it was dark) and got stuck as I did not have a torch........I didn't play the game again for over 20 years. I now enjoy dusting off the Genesis and playing the game again. Very unforgiving. They don't' make games like this anymore.

The original on the Amiga is fun. The Sega Genesis version I liked too. The only issue I had with the Sega Genesis one is that the cursor on the menu is too fast. The grinding took me about if I can remember 30-45 mins. Very easy to abuse the spawning system in the graveyard.
It has something like it however they made it more action for combat. The experience system was simple enough. Get brave than you will get more Vit aka hit points. Once you know the system you can game it right away.
