- Hey guys! Today's video is an exciting one coz I am going to be testing a hair straightening brush for the first time!!!
I have always had a problem of curly, frizzy, messy hair. And while I absolutely love my curls, there are days when I want to have those magazine perfect sleek, silky, STRAIGHT hair! But don't really have the patience to straighten them on my own with a flat iron & don't always have the time to go to a Salon. So just thought to give these hair straightening brushes a try!!! Used to wonder if it really works...Well, now we'll know :D

Hi,
Straightened hair after wash is somewhat ok, but before wash after the hair cut the hair setting done by parlour was much better. Looks very nice . That is almost straight near to roots and wavy as you reach to the tip of the hair. even i have same type of hair, but curled at tip gives more gorgeous look.

Hi himani, great review. I have been interested in these hair brush straighteners but most of the brands on amazon are made in china brands. Revlon is at least a respected brand and the price is not that high. Do u fully recommend this brush? I mean does it smell of burnt plastic or hot near the scalp? I have frizzy hair near the front roots only..
Sush SGG Hey..thanks! Yes I definitely recommend this brush, just make sure to apply a heat protectant spray before using it (or any heating tool for that matter) on your hair. It didn’t feel hot on the scalp & made my hair really smooth! Hope this helps:)

Did you feel burning like smell while straightening with brush and is it ok to use frequently?
chandana kakumani I use it quite frequently at 330 degree temperature & never felt any burning like smell. Just be sure to apply heat protectant spray properly before using the brush.

I know EXACTLY what you mean. I have EXACTLY the same kind of hair. And just a couple of days ago I came to the EXACT same conclusion to not cut your hair too short in the front..coz guess what...I had this EXACT same haircut. Lol.

shreyasi saha Yes..it says it’s compatible with the Indian voltage system. But honestly I haven’t tried using it in India yet, so can’t really say. You may also go with other Indian alternatives that I’ve linked in the description box

asha ganatra Ya got to know that this brush is really expensive in India..so I’ve given some cheaper alternatives in the description box of this video! Well I got it in the US for about $40 only that is less than Rs.3000. I obviously wouldn’t spend 8k on a straightening brush 😄🙈

Juhi Dhawan No..this one doesn’t! But even if a brush gets hot while using on a very high temperature, you can wear heat gloves & everything becomes much more easy & smooth.
How much time it took to do entire hair
Can we use aleovera gel instead of some spray ?
vaishnavi mandula Yes you can use aloevera gel instead of heat protectant spray. But if you’re too much into styling your hair, I would suggest using natural oils with high smoke point (i.e. the point at which the oil begins to burn should be atleast 350 degrees or higher). Some of the best oil options are Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Almond Oil & Avocado Oil. Just mix with water & some hair conditioner in a spray bottle & you’re good to go 😊

I take around 15 mins to straighten my hair with this brush. And they remain straight till I was them.

No, it doesn’t hurt the scalp. The tips of the brush are not hot & feels just like a regular brush or comb

Sharmistha Chhetripradhan No it doesn’t if you use a good quality heat protectant spray. Check out the one I use in the description box of this video.
Even then, limit its use. Any heat appliance is damaging to the hair, although a heated brush like this may be less harmful than a flat iron.

Bought both Revlon hair straightener brush & hair spray both didn’t work for me.Hair spray makes hair super dry & frizzy just like straw & straightening brush is not able to remove curls like normal straightener does. I had to return both👎
What's the fun of having straightening brush if u still have to work it on sectioned hair... The same time is invested in case of ironing too
